Stacy at Salon Luxe is the best! I have referred numerous friends and family to her and everyone loves her. She listens to what you want but she also offers great suggestions. She stays up to date on all the current trends. I highly recommend her and the salon if you want a fabulous professional haircut.

This salon was recommended to me by an acquaintance so I gave it a try while I was visiting family. The stylist was friendly, however I was extremely disappointed in the final result of my so called "balayage". I'll let my hair photos tell the rest of the story. Thankfully I went to another salon to correct the damage. It pains me to write bad reviews but I want others to be aware of my hair coloring experience.

LOVE the StylistS... and love the conversation! The salon is so cute and relaxing. They are super sweet and really nice. Tons of products but not pushy to sell it at all. I bring all my girls in for their special days to get their hair cut and they all just adore their girl time. Highly recommend them!

First of all, the fact that I'm actually writing a review and taking time out of my over scheduled, rat raced life, indicates that this was a terrible experience. Wow, if I could give this 0 Stars I absolutely would. I just raced over (tonight) to pick up a conditioner from a line that this salon carries and found the door to be locked at exactly ten minutes before their closing time. Two employees were standing at the desk working and talking. Both just stared at me when I knocked and attempted to open the door. I even motioned to my watch and to their posted hours on the window. They still stood there! Begrudgingly, one of the girls finally sauntered over to the door, poked her head out and stared at me blankly. I stated that I needed to quickly buy a conditioner before they closed (in 10 minutes.) She then mumbled about closing early tonight and offered no kind of apology or explanation. She kept looking over her shoulder to the other girl to make sure that they were both on the same page. I was then told that I can come back tomorrow at noon. HAHAHAHA!!!!! Um, no. Not in a million years. Let me tell ya, I'm no stranger to salons and the salon industry. I've worked in it for over 20 years. And for lack of a better term, I'm a salon w**re. I love finding new places and new talent. I had never been to this salon as a client so I thought that maybe it would be a good place to check out their services sometime when I wasn't in such a hurry. Yeah...no.I then called another salon that carried the same product but also closed at 8. I told her that I would race right over so that they could close on time. She kindly told me to take my time and that it wasn't even an issue if I were to come at 8:01pm.So, after finishing this review I will then be writing a 5-star review for the other salon and their exemplary customer service. I'll absolutely be back to give my patronage. Not only for product purchase but as a new client as well.Good luck to you Salon Luxe.

Yeah, that would be a NO.First off, $105 for a root connect processed under a hair dryer with a plastic cap over my hair? WTF? There was no one -and I mean NO ONE- in the salon besides me, so no need to rush the processing, which is the only reason in at least the last 15 years that a professional stylist has ever processed my color that way, and that was VERY few times. So I was out of there in less than an hour for $105 less tip and tax.Secondly, one is sitting in a chair, with the natural light from the windows behind, in a room painted all black -walls and ceiling- with track lighting and chandeliers for decor. The result of this is that though the stylist may be able to see your head, you mostly can only see your silhouette in the mirror. Not being able to see yourself well in the mirror in a salon is lousy. The decor in the salon is dramatic -if not screaming 90s- but not effective for the client.Thirdly, my stylist, while pleasant, didn't feel it necessary to hold back in describing my hair as "frumpy." My ego can take it, I disagree, but mainly I thought it unprofessional. She did however whip out the round brush while drying my hair even though I told -when she asked beforehand- that I had one but didn't like to use a round brush. My short hair doesn't need any help in the body or curl department, and I prefer it smoother rather than fluffy. On a whole it's a NO.
