Lux Center for the Arts

Between April 17 and April 25th, 2020, the LUX Center for the Arts has their Annual Art Auction, and it is LIVE online right now. I am one of the artist in the auction.It is the absolute worse economic time to have an art auction, but the best time to support LUX. This has been the largest fundraiser for LUX in the past. Please visit there website to bid on art. I will be in town the beginning of April 2022 to set up my solo exhibition, which will run for 2 months. See you then!

I took my 6 year old granddaughter who loves to draw and her 9 year old sister. Both enjoyed the experience. The 6 year old wants to take classes and has a new goal of one day having a piece of her work on exhibit. Ms. Lux must have been an amazing individual. I love her work.

I was the gallery director at LUX for a while - and I worked my tail off to renovate the galleries and the gift shop. Check it out!

This establishment includes a number of cool galleries. It clearly has a commitment to community engagement as well as encouraging young artists. Most of the art is available for purchase, and there is an eclectic gift store.
