Luella's Cafe

Small local breakfast and lunch stop in town (thank goodness because all the coffee shops were closed!). Served was extremely helpful with explaining the menu and patient with me on ordering. Has their biscuits & homemade gravy for breakfast. Biscuit was a little tough, but tasted good! Lunch I had a BLT with their cucumber/onion salad. Came out quick! Everything made very well!

Ate breakfast there just recently and the bacon and sausage was really greasy and my toast was saturated in butter. I had to absorb the grease with several napkins and my husband's too. The waiter told the cook to lightly butter my toast next time so he brought back toast that was still saturated with butter not any different then before so I told him I won't have any at all. Whenever we were there before our food was never greasy. It was so disappointing.

First time was a great experience. Friendly service that kept our coffee cups full. Normal American breakfast fare with daily special. Fair prices, adequate to generous portions and good quality food. We will be back next time in Falls City!

A weekend morning staple when the grandsons are in town! Super friendly staff! Great portion sizes with entree and FF

This is your iconic small town diner! We we there about 30 min after opening and were the first in the place on a weekday. (Others came in a little later.) It's exactly what you want in a diner with some good coffee, extra butter in the food and little packages of jelly with your toast. The wait staff was very helpfulAnd friendly.We had the cheesy potato casserole and the biscuits and gravy. The casserole had a nice cheese crunch on top. I personally would have like to see the potatoes grilled a little to give it more crunch, but then it would be more of a skillet dish. The biscuit was well made with a good heavy texture. I'd like a little more spice in the sauce to kick it up. Overall a really good place and the kind of hearty breakfast that will fill you up.

Was there for breakfast. Their biscuits and gravey are the worst that I have ever had and the price for two biscuits was $6.99. Which makes them ever worse...Our waitress was nice and sweet.Very much a small town feel.

Finally had a chance to stop at Luella's Cafe for lunch, we'll worth it! I had the blt breakfast sandwich with egg salad, delicious! Cute cafe, waitress was very helpful with suggestions and so sweet. We will be back! Also, people who write 1 star reviews, especially on locally owned small businesses are miserable people!
