Loup City Diner

Our first time in. Breakfast plans. 2 cakes and 2 eggs. Burnt everything except eggs over medium. And all is really good. B says biscuits n gravy are not very warm/hot. I really like what I got here.

Had a nice lunch here. A good place to stop if you are passing by on highway 92. I had the BLT, and the bacon was thick and delicious. My friends both had the tuna melt, and seemed pleased.A great assortment of colorful characters.When I visited the owner had some beautiful Edward Hopper prints on the walls, and we had a great time talking about them.

Friendly staff. Old school atmosphere. Food was decent nothing special but not bad either

I really enjoyed eating the liver n onions. Service was great -- very homey restaurant. I live outside of Wasington DC (but was born in Loup city and grew up in Litchfield) and it was nice to get away from big city restaurants. my "picky eater" boy is my son and he really enjoed the restaurant - he is 9

Food was just ok. Nothing great about it. My concern was that the staff (cook and extra waitress I think) stared at us from the time we sat down until we left. My kid even noticed and asked me about it later. He thought they were staring at him. We had a party of 5. Two kids and three adults. We arrived before noon on a weekday.

This diner is a great place for breakfast. When we are in town, we make it in for their breakfast. We have also had lunch there in the past, which was decent. Their meals are good and reasonably priced.

Loup City Diner has awesome food. Now that's saying something because I am a pretty picky eater. One reason I love their food is that it's fresh and delicious. Their salad was fresh, their cheese burger was fresh, and their drinks were fresh, and everything else was fresh too. I ordered a deluxe cheeseburger, a salad, and a beverage and I ate everything. I was stuffed but I saw a butterscotch pudding layered desert and I suddenly wasn't full. So I ate it and it was so good, it tasted like heaven and I couldn't stop eating it. That butterscotch pudding was so good it became my fav food in just TEN MINUTES! I love that diner.

Loup City Diner is the greatest food establishment in Sherman County. Sunday's Buffet is always delicious and very satisfying. The owners, Chuck and Sheri are friends the moment you walk in. I just moved to Loup City and I don't know what I would do without The Diner.Don Schneider
