We realized we needed boots for our dog a day or two after the rest of Omaha realized the need. Thus, all the big box stores were out of dog boots. We called around, and the team at Long Dog Fat Cat was fantastic. They let us know what they had, made sure they fit our dog, and held them for us as we drove across town to buy them. The store has a ton of great items for your furry housemate. And, bringing your dog in is welcomed. We found some nice treats and our dog boots. We were able to hit the dog park for a play date properly protected from the elements.We ended up going to 2 Long Dog Fat Cat stores during our search, and the staff at both were incredibly helpful.I highly recommend them for your pet needs!

Got the 4" birthday cake for my dog this week and it was perfect! The size was just right for him as he isn't a big eater and I didn't know how he would feel about it. He loved the frosting which was peanut butter. When you are ordering you get to choose what kind of frosting and kind of cake you want which is great. I got a banana cake then with peanut butter frosting and ghost loved it. I will keep getting him cakes here every year! The staff was great also! They replied right away to the request I sent in for the cake and the checkout woman in the store was super nice. Very neat dog store.

Lots of healthy (safe) treats for dogs that actually taste good. No I haven't tried them myself but my pups love them. They also have really cute clothes plus the staff is always helpful.

We were looking for somewhere new to get our bichon frise Westley groomed and came across Long Dog Fat Cat. We live nearby but had never been in the store. They were able to get Westley in for an appointment within the week, which was wonderful. We are always a little nervous to get him groomed at new places because we have had a few bad experiences, but we were SO pleased with his cut! He looked absolutely adorable, and the price was more reasonable than we've paid anywhere else. We will definitely be returning with Westley for his next groom!

I take my pup here to get pampered. Stephen is the best groomer. He remembers how I prefer him to be trimmed even though he's got to see hundreds of dogs between my dog's grooms. He's such a gentle soul and so good with my dog who freaks out with people.

I've been to LDFC several times now, and have yet to have anything less than a stellar experience. They carry a large selection of pet foods that are hard to find elsewhere, especially at big box retailers. This last visit, I needed help because I'm transitioning my dog to a (partially) raw diet. The employee greeted me immediately upon entering the store and asked if I needed anything. When I explained what I was looking for, he immediately invited me to follow him to the area of the store with the raw options. He proceeded to walk me through the various brands and types, asking me questions along the way to point me in the right direction. I was very impressed with how knowledgeable and professional he was The products I did purchase are high-quality and not as expensive as I had expected. I also like the interior set up of the store. Although it's a small space, they've organized it well. There are so many fun things to look at from homemade treats and jerky to collars and leashes to toys. They have a membership program that gives you 3% off your purchase every time. Sign up! Also love that they host many meet and greets for the various animal rescues in town.

Great staff- very knowledgeable! Amazing nutrition for our furry little friends!! We recently switched to raw food and we are soo happy with all of the choices and options. They also have cute bakery items, bones, and all kinds of treat options! LOVE how they host local rescues!

I just had a very bad experience with this place! Six weeks ago, we had our dog groomed there. The groomer did not do that great of job so I called to complain. I told them I would keep the next appointment because I wanted to give her another chance. With the next time being that I would be more specific as to what kind of cut we wanted.Fast forward to today. I had a 2:30 appointment. They did not have it on their calendar because that groomer quit. Rather then calling me to tell me what happened, they erased the appointment from their schedule. He looked at me very puzzled. I still had the scheduled appointment on my phone so I showed it to him. Well, we don't have a groomer here today. Not a sorry for the confusion. No apology. Nothing! I will never go back there. Poorly managed. We are having a party tomorrow night at our house. I was counting on getting him groomed! So I drove over to Pet's Earth and they were able to work our dog in. They were awesome!
