I had the opportunity to watch The Diary of Anne Frank on opening night. The venue was really nice and roomy, the seats comfortable. We had gotten dinner before the show so we did not partake of the commissary, but I saw they had a special that related back to the play. For this play it was a spice cupcake that related back to the spice cake mentioned in the play. The performance was phenomenal. I read through the play bill and saw that there were many actors on stage for the first time, had I not seen that I would not have known. It was well directed, the actors were so believable in their roles. I was very impressed. I look forward to attending more plays at this venue when I visit my friend that lives locally. Lucas Hrabik, how on earth can you blush on command!!

What a wonderful, charming theatre housed in a beautiful wooden building in the middle of cornfields! Won my heart completely! It's about a 45 minute drive from Omaha. The theatre was earlier housed in a barn (!) and is currently celebrating it's 40th year! The whole place smelled of wood, and brought with it a rush of nostalgia :) I watched a production of the Music Man here which was pretty good too, with some great performances. However, the setting of this theatre is what takes the cake.
