Locked Room Omaha

For my daughter's 14th Birthday we booked the Last Hour of the Titanic for 6 of her friends and her. They has SO MUCH FUN! Plus, they solved the room with 2 minutes left. We really appreciated The Locked Room staff taking a picture of all 7 girls with some props after the adventure! It is a great keepsake!

We did the FRESH MEAT -The Zombie Escape Adventure and it was a blast! I've only been to one other escape room, and Locked Room Omaha was by far nicer and more fun. I liked that you really felt like you were a part of the theme, and the clues were also linked to the theme. Super nice man that runs the place. We escaped with 4 minutes to spare!! There were four of us that did this room, and although it holds more I think 4 is a good amount to hunt clues without bumping into each other too much. What I love about Locked Room is that even if you don't fill a room to maximum capacity, they do NOT let strangers join you to fill the room as other escape rooms do. Who wants to solve puzzles with strangers anyway! :-) I almost gave this 4 stars because they did have a power surge about 1/3 of the way into our game which caused the creepy zombie music/sounds to stop playing and he wasn't able to restart the music, but that was out of his control and we had so much fun even with that they still deserve 5 stars!! We will be back!!

My family and I love escape rooms, so we were delighted to hear of this new one opening. They had a nice Groupon offer, which we bought for our first visit. Their website was easy to use and I signed us up for a time slot. Their location was easy to find, located at the back of a mini mall, just North of 120th and Dodge. They were very friendly and walked us through a few rules before we entered the room. They have a place to hang up coats and lockable lockers, as they requested that we do not bring our cell phones in to the room.Now, I'm afraid this is about where my review ends, as I don't want to give away a single thing! We did the Death By Wine room, which was appropriate for our two kids, aged 10 & 11. For us, the room had a really nice balance of hard puzzles, but solvable if you all work together and think things out a bit. We've been through a couple rooms at other places that just end up being either one padlock code after another, or such a complex puzzle you pretty much have to ask for a clue to solve it. So, we liked that this place had different components, but nothing too impossible to solve.We did get hung up on one thing at the very end (examine EVERYTHING!). They have a red button next to the door you can push if you need a clue, which we had to finally use. After one little suggestion, we were able to make it the rest of the way on our own.We plan to come back in a few weeks and give the Titanic room a try!

Excellent! The owners that run this are superb, and the rooms are super creative. Well worth the money. Gonna take my family to this again during thanksgiving time.

So good love it!!! Titanic is pretty hard. Didn't do anything but still has fun!!! And I give it a five star!!! That's how good it is! Going to another!

Saturday after Thanksgiving we went to the Locked Room as a group of six. It is great for almost all ages. We had a teen, two 20 year olds and an 84 year old and it was really fun. We needed one hint about twenty minutes into it and finished with 11 minutes left. Everyone participated and everyone helped to figure out the various puzzles. I recommend you arrive at least 10 minutes prior. They lock up your smart phones and then you get a five minute tutorial. The tutorial helps you understand the various locks and what will or will not move. We really liked the Zombie experience and will try the Titanic experience next time. We liked it so much that we purchased two experiences for friends. They gave us a Black Friday deal and it felt good to support a local small business. The owners are really friendly and it was well worth it as it allowed us to spend time with our kids and engage our minds for an hour.

This place was the most professional location we've been to in Omaha, and we've been to them all. They walked you through the locks that you will encounter, what is there for you to open and how to identify what you shouldn't worry about. Anything we shouldn't mess with was bolted down, so we knew it had no significance. I loved the challenges in the room we did, very, very cool. They had sound affects while we played that really helped set the tone and mood of the room. We did not escape in the time, but we were close! All 8 group members enjoyed the activity and we will definitely be back.

This place was great! The room was so clever and well themed. Not only that, the staff was beyond helpful and friendly.

Me and my husband had an amazing time here. It was so much fun and was not too bad on price a little over $50. I would recommend coming here !

Fun time! Good for old and young. Super easy to book and get to - we'll be back to try the other rooms.
