Another first time adventure. Shrimp Dumplings app for me. Hot tea drink. Drunken Noodles also. Nice and quiet and comfortable warm during outdoors cold we are having. Winter days. Very good choice for lunch.

Ling's is definitely my favorite spot for Asian cuisine in all of Omaha. As far as the service goes, the wait staff were very friendly and helpful. The food comes out quickly. The restaurant is fairly small inside, so I could hear the waiter's conversations with the other tables. Him and the other customers had great rapport and were joking around. It's kind of a great place to people watch and observe the joy of human behaviors, if you really think about it. For ambiance, the decorations in this place are super cute. Personally, I am a huge fan of the fun, eclectic decor. They also had a video of different fish in an aquarium playing on the tv. That was super fun to watch. Of course, I must mention the food at this point. It's amazing! The portion sizes are very generous for the price point. My boyfriend and I went, ordering the pho and orange chicken, respectively. Each entree was $15 and we took home leftovers for days. The pho smelled absolutely delightful. My boyfriend's only wish was that there was a little more meat in it (however, he is a big meat fan so the average person may find it has an adequate amount). The orange chicken had a noticeable citrus flavor, which is refreshing compared to other restaurants' take on orange chicken. The green peppers served with the orange chicken added a nice spice, too. Overall, great food and great dining experience. I 100% recommend Ling's to anyone looking for a new spot to try.

Ling's is a wonderful neighborhood Asian restaurant with authentic decor. They have excellent menu choices and their food is terrific! The hot and sour soup is flavorful, as well as the pho and General's chicken. Entrée prices are fair with larger than average portion sizes. Service was quick and friendly, and this is one of our favorite Asian restaurants of all times!

Great service, food is good but I wish they would stick to one Asian cuisine and concentrate on that. I think they would do great !

Hidden gem! I have heard great things, and this Asian cuisine did not disappoint! I'm already looking forward to going back! The service and ambiance are lovely. Many of the other customers were regulars and came often for lunch! I had the drunken noodles and asked them to make it spicy!

First time getting takeout from Ling's. Tried two dishes, Mongolian Beef and Lemongrass Chicken. The chicken was superb. Just the right amount of spice. Very flavorful.I have never said this about a Mongolian Beef dish before, but it needed more onions. Almost always they are trying to stretch the beef by adding too many onions, but not so this time. Had the hot pepper oil on the side which was a good thing. Added a few drops and they had a lot of zing.Rice was nice and fluffy, not undercooked.A couple of Godiva chocolates were a nice touch.Overall 4 1/2 stars, rounding up for the friendliness and convenience. Will return.

It was a gloomy day and we decided on something quick and close -- Ling's. It was easy to place our order online and we had a 30 minute window before pick-up. I arrived about 20 minutes in, which maybe made the subsequent wait feel even longer, but there was definitely an air of semi-frenzy going on. That said, the food was delicious so it was worth the little extra wait.We were all appetizers all the time this order -- eggrolls - one order is two skinny rolls that were hot, fresh and yummy.-- crab rangoon - again, fresh and delicious and sooo overstuffed!-- chicken lettuce wraps - these are a favorite of my husband's when we eat at that chain restaurant with the Asian horses out front ... He liked these even better! And the order is so large, he had more than enough for dinner and leftovers for lunch. And finally, Banh Mi. Listed as an appetizer, but such a great dinner! Plenty of tender meat, cut in such a way that you get a mouthful in every bite and it's never tough or messy. Loads of pickled veggies and slices of the worlds biggest jalapenos!Sundays can be frantic whether cooking at home or carrying out, and when the food is this good, it's worth the wait.

One of my favorite restaurants in my area. They have Chinese, Vietnamese, and Thai dishes. Their pho is really good and always comes out really hot. The broth is delicious and perfect on cold and rainy days. They also make really good Banh mi (Vietnamese Sandwiches). I also love their Thai basil chicken, Red Curry chicken, and General chicken. For appetizers my favorites are the fresh spring rolls with peanut sauce, fried wings, fried calamari, and shrimp dumplings. If Im in the mood for noodles, I usually get the pad thai or the drunken noodles. My wife loves the lo mein. They also make really good teas and smoothies. Just recently I enjoyed the taro smoothie and the iced green tea. I like how its not too sweet but just right. The customer service is excellent. The servers always welcome me with a warm greeting, seat me right away, and take my order promptly. I never feel rushed and never once were they rude to me. The food is consistently good which is why I eat here frequently. Their prices are also pretty reasonable for the quality and amount of food you're getting. They don't skimp. I usually have enough food left over afterwards to take home. I not only recommend this place to my friends, but people at my gym and where I work have also recommended this place to me. Give this place a try!

Ling's is a great local spot for Asian cuisine. It is small inside, but very nice and clean. The staff are very friendly and quick to get orders and your food to you! The menu is small, but that's how you know the food will be excellent. I've had the Bahn Mi and hot soup (I can't recall the name) and both were so good! One of my favorite places for Asian food.

Have to update my review. Unfortunately we returned and tried more dishes. None of them "held" up and were that great. So overall the only really outstanding dish here from two visits is the Taiwanese Beef Noddle Soup. Everything else was very subpar.
