How did I not know about this place? Yes, they have diamonds but I can't tell you about them as I ignored them. They have a couple of very interesting displays of colored stones, including a good selection of rainbow sapphire jewelry (want a bracelet displaying all the colors sapphire comes in? How about a ring? earrings? a pin, perhaps?), a couple of other interesting stones (blue zircons; morganite) and a case on the wall with turquoise in blue or orange tones and carved vases made of multicolored jade from Taiwan. Owner is very personable and apparently owns a part share of a cutting service in Thailand; he can tell you all about where the different kinds of gems come from. Some pearls; he didn't have any South Sea black ones out but apparently he does them. Also stocks men's jewelry and watches. All jewelry repairs done in-house. Not your standard run-of-the-mill designs; we visited a more standard jewelry shop afterwards and it really suffered by comparison. Prices reasonable for what you're getting.
