Place seems a little pretentious and you have to ask before playing anything. Nice store with couches and chairs for people who aren't interested in music to tag along. Probably not kid friendly and wouldn't recommend to bring any kids along. Everything is very expensive.

One of the best guitar shops in the Midwest. If you are looking for a real instrument and not some cheap Chinese made crap or low grade guitar center promo - THIS place has beautiful guitars. Bring your wallet, great instruments don't come cheap.

LOVE this place!!! Everything you want a guitar, amp and bass shop to be. The friendliest, most professional and well stocked shop period.They also happen to have the most talented repair luthier on EARTH. I lived in Hollywood CA...land of guitar tech's, builders and Luthiers and Micah is THE BEST....and he makes the repairs here.The place is literally SO GOOD...my other favorite guitar shop (Ground Floor guitars) recommended that I check this place out. I could go on and on for days how great this place is but...you shouldn't even be reading this review...you should be heading into Lidgett RIGHT NOW! Seriously LOVE this place!!!

Excellent instrument selection with outstanding expert service. Love the selection of guitars. Very impressive. Well worth the trip if you live outside Council Bluffs. Like the location, nice area. Go here before you make an internet buy you will regret. They'll set up your guitar before you take it home. Highly recommended.

Discovered this little gem while traveling to Council Bluffs last summer. Hands down the best guitar shop I've experienced in years. If you are looking for high end gear, look no further. And I don't mean just one fancy guitar locked in a glass case. They literally have an entire room of top tier acoustics and electrics and amps. Of course they have tags on every instrument requesting that you ask before playing. And for good reason, there are some in the 3-5k range. There is a whole other half of the store dedicated to more entry level instruments as well. The owner was super friendly and very knowledgeable of his instruments. Such a relief to know there are still small local owned shops like this out there.

Lidgett is awesome and Rob is the the best. Have bought 3 guitars and many accessories and Rob has always given me a good deal and great customer service which makes me keep coming back.
