Overall - 5/10Tom Ka - 7/10Green Curry - 5/10Egg Rolls - 6/10Crab Rangoon - 6/10Spring Rolls - 7/10Restaurant - 6/10Service - 1/10Not trying to be too harsh as we were happy to find a Thai place in this area. Ordered Tom Ka as medium heat, and was way low on spicy. Ordered green curry as medium heat, WAY too much spicy. Couldn't even eat it. The food overall is edible but average. The service on the other hand was absolutely non-existent. The front is run by, what we guessed it the cook/owner's teenage son. He said literally three words to us during our entire time there. He couldn't be bothered to look up from his phone. We had to go up to the desk to get anything and everything we needed. It was really bad. I gave a point for his dad busting his ass in the back and basically running the entire place by himself.

A beautiful cozy change of pace in this small town. Not the typical Asian restaurant menu you're used to seeing. The chef does an awesome job in the meticulously selected items. It's great for a date night or if you'd like a quieter place to dine

We wandered over to check this place out, heard it was similar to Pad Thai Garden. We have missed them SO much so decided to make the drive... We walked in and noticed all tables were full-always a good sign. Decided we would get ours to go. Ordered Pad Thai (1 *) with chicken, drunken noodles (2*) and a veggie delight. The pad Thai was good, not great. It wasn't bad, it just didn't have much of whatever that Thai umami flavor is that I'm obsessed with. 3/5 stars. The drunken noodles were my favorite and surprisingly so, it was a last minute choice to add on. I'd drive there again for these alone 5/5. The veggie delight (ordered 2 *) was also spicy and flavorful. We should have tried an appetizer and probably will next time. I'm not sure I'd make it a frequent destination at 25 min each way, but if you're around it's absolutely worth stopping in :) It's a solid Thai place and I'm glad the people in the area have a good option!

Best Thai food in central Iowa! Great food. Great service! Carry out or eat in. We're lucky to have this restaurant in Adel.

Food was great but my order was messed up twice. I also had things missing from my togo order once. Don't call in to place your order ahead of time, go in so that you can point to the numbers on the menu to dine in or carry out.

It is dangerous to have a place like this next to my job. I eat there way too much. The Pho is delicious, the shrimp spring rolls are amazing. I've also tried the shrimp dumplings...so good and the crab rangoon really great as well. This is my lunch break go to.

Staff is extremely friendly every time I visit. The restaurant has a very casual atmosphere with nice decorations and overall good vibes. The food is always of high quality and tastes great every time. Only issue I've encountered was only receiving 4 potstickers when 6 were ordered (takeout and didn't notice until arriving at home), but every other positive experience makes up for this.

Yummy tofu TomYum!!! I ordered 4 Star heat and it was perfect!! Spring rolls with tofu were good except the side sauce was a bit sweet. I over heard another patron say the crab rangoons were the best he'd ever have. Must try them out too!

We came with our work team, on our drive back to Iowa City - here's what we have to say! Team member 1: I ordered the seafood noodle soup. It was good, but also nothing that knocked my socks off just average. It was a pho with lots of different seafood in it such as crab, shrimp, and calamari. The broth was really good. Also it was a very quiet restaurant with no music playing so the atmosphere was not lively. The service was really good. Total 3.5/5 Team member 2: An absolute delight. When life gives you a lemon, squeeze it onto your Thai food and eat it. 4.4/5Team member 3: Quite simply, my experience at lemon grass was very, very lovely. The food (i got the pineapple fried rice and had some of my wife's pad thai) was phenomenal. The service was superb. The ambiance was a bit somber but very quiet and peaceful. Plus the prices were very reasonable! Overall, i would highly recommend this place for anyone searching for great food in Adel...... 4.7/5.0Team member 4: I really enjoyed my experience at Lemon Grass! The food was delicious and very flavorful. The atmosphere was perfect for a meal with family, a chill meal, or generally good conversation, not the most fun atmosphere, but still very nice. I would definitely go back and recommend to others... 4.1/5.0Team Member 5: I have mixed feelings about my experience at Lemon Grass. My first disclaimer, is that I am pregnant & finding myself very picky with food at this time! That being said, I was disappointed with the Pad Thai, which had a different flavor than I am used to, and too much sauce in my opinion. It was hard for me to stomach, so I ate my husband's pineapple fried rice, which was, on the other hand, very wonderful. Contrary to what some of my teammates have said, I loved the quiet environment. When I walked in, I was comforted by the lack of music and the three tables filled with other customers, in silent contentment with their meals. Overall: 3.9/5.0
