Every time we have purchased glasses the prescriptions are sent off and take weeks to get back. When they come back, almost all of ours have needed to be adjusted resulting in more weeks going without glasses. Recently I used up all my insurance allowance getting glasses from there and they were again needing to be fixed. I was not called when they arrived and had to call them. I got them and needed to get the prescription fixed as usual. My husband warned me to not go there but I love the doctors there, but the lab that does the lenses is horrible. I moved out of state and went to a place in my new state and kept having vision issues with my glasses from Legacy, and they told me the prescription was wrong, so Legacy agreed to fix them. Weeks later, Legacy kindly sends back my "fixed" glasses and I start getting massive migraines. As I was wiping my right eye which was closed, I realized the left lens is not like the right one...it even has shadows behind the letters I am seeing. So, my right eye was doing all the work from the messed up lens in the left resulting in migraines. I am out of allowances to buy new glasses here in my new state, and I feel Legacy should refund the price and let me return them since they screwed up my lens & I get this in email.."I understand you are not seeing out of the new prescription that your new doctor prescribed to you. Unfortunately that is not our prescription and you need to go back to the doctors office you last visited. We did offer to go beyond our normal policies and fill your new prescription in the glasses as a courtesy since you are no longer living in the area and you were upset. However at that time we also informed you that this would be the last dr change that we would do. We also informed you that there was not much change in the new prescription and the prescription we had filled before at our office. The prescription in the glasses is exactly to your new eyecare office's written prescription. If you are struggling your next step would be to contact them. We wish you the best and hope you find a solution soon."NO LEGACY EYE CARE ONLY THE RIGHT LENS is correct. The LEFT lens is completely different resulting in eye strain with migraines. I tested my eyes with my older glasses and they all have exact lenses on both sides. These new ones sent from Legacy are NOT the same and they don't care.Highly consider going to a place that does not focus on getting your money but instead focuses on your eye health.

If you want a nice place that looks great this is the place to go. However, if you value service over appearance run in the opposite direction. In my recent visit I was belittled by the optometrist (Dr. Brewer) and was miserable through my whole appointment. He questioned if I even knew what kind of contact lenses I wore, and told me my Ray Bans were garbage even though they are a retailer for them? I don't care if you think a product sucks, but don't turn around and sell it in your lobby as if you support it. As far as the contacts go, of course I know what lenses I wear; I've only been wearing the same brand for 10 years. When the exam was finished I was taken to the lobby to order new glasses since my prescription had changed. Dr. Brewer had taken it upon himself to just upgrade everything on my glasses and the lady ordering them for me had the audacity to not even ask if I wanted all of the upgrades. It was only when she told me my bill would be $600 that I questioned the charges and made her break them down. After the fiasco with the glasses I went ahead and ordered my contacts online. However, when the online place tried to process my order Dr. Brewer denied it. I had to call and spend and extra 20 minutes trying to figure out why my prescription that I received three days prior was no longer in my chart. Not only do I not appreciate being belittled, I also don't appreciate being taken advantage of and being charged extra because someone thinks they can get away with it. Dr. Brewer is absolutely unprofessional and only looks after his own bottom line instead of the quality of his patient care and satisfaction. I will NEVER return to this facility.

My full review is listed on their other listing with a different address. Review in a nutshell, like anything; one bad experience can negate 10 past great experiences, which is the case here. Would have previously provided a 5 star review, but now turned 1 star and a loss of 2 current clients. Great new facility though.

I stopped in this morning to look at new eye glasses. Reception was very welcoming. They paired me with a stylist that made an ominous job of selecting frames easy and fun. There was no pressure, she just guided me through their huge selection of brands and styles. Great service! Great quality and warranty! Would definitely recommend to others! They also have a variety of payment options which I very much appreciate. I was treated like I was the only customer in the store. I couldn't be more pleased!

I have been seeing Dr. Brewer for several years. He is great! He is very professional. They have the most up to date technology. I have never been anywhere that I received such a thorough exam. They have a fantastic selection of eyewear that is of excellent quality. There is a vast range of frame prices. If you are into Designer Frames, this is the place to go. I suggest you pay for the charge for the tests that are not in a routine exam. I think it was $30 or $35. They get a picture of the inside eyeball. Dr. Brewer will explain all of the blood vessels and what they may indicate.

The worst customer service I have ever encountered especially for the amount of money it costs. The manager Megan tried to justify her employee telling me to go elsewhere because I didn't want to purchase glasses from them! Save your money and go to a place that will make feel you mean something! My glasses we delayed when I purchased them from them over $500 and haven't worn them because they're awfully made!

Completely avoid DR.Brewer! Did nothing but talk down to my wife until I came in, he is completely sexist and rude! Talked down to his staff the whole time I was there, the staff was extremely helpful but he was the rudest person to women I have seen in a long time!

Absolutely horrible experience. Was a patient there for many a years now. They are "nice" to you as far as you spend money and don't complain about any product you purchased. My child got his first pair of glasses there and I bought the frame and lenses they recommended. When one lens went missing in less than 3 months I took it back this morning. The lady at the front desk said let me see what we can do. Another lady comes back out and doesn't even address the missing lens and just changes the strap in the back of the Miraflex frame and says "see if that works better" and gave it back to me. So what now he is supposed to see with one lens. Upon asking what about the missing lens... she says, "well it's like loosing a diamond ring and asking for a replacement". I told her it is not like loosing a diamond ring. A ring has 4 or 6 prongs and if made well wouldn't be an issue. They automatically assumed my child is the issue and that he did something to loose the lens. She said, "kids twist and bend frames". I guess what I am wondering is then why did you guys recommend the very flexible Miraflex frame". But yeah... clearly their frame or the lens couldn't have been the issue. If one cares about service over looks I would not recommend this place. Last but not the least the warranty they offer works only if the lens doesn't go missing and that's assuming they put it perfectly in the first place which clearly no one knows if they did.

We have been going Dr. Brewer for many years now. Dr. Brewer and staff have always been extremely knowledgeable and helpful. We highly recommended Legacy Eye Care. They also have an amazing selection of frames, even for kids.

Not impressed with the service. Got contacts for the first time. I received minimal direction and no follow up care at all.
