I lived at Legacy Commons for a year and a half before I broke my lease to get out of there. They have recently gone under new management and it is awful. Everyone is so unorganized and they don't really care about their residents, just that they get their rent. It is way overpriced for the service you actually get.The maintenance is no good and takes longer than needed to complete a job. Someone vomited on the stairway and it was left there for three days before I had enough and made complaints about it needing to be cleaned up ASAP. There was also water damage from rain and snow in both my apartment and the stairway. For over $1000 a month for a two bedroom apartment, it is not worth it!Don't waste your time or money here.

Very poorly ran, and definitely not "luxury" like they advertise everywhere. The commons areas in the buildings are filthy, and the hallways/stairs smell absolutely awful, and carpet has stains and who knows what else on it. The landscaping outside is almost nonexistent, weeds and trash accentuate the area. For the price of rent at this place they could afford decent landscaping and quality cleaning, and more modern updates. The cabinets in our unit are always breaking, and the kitchen appliances ate terrible; small fridge, dishwasher that barely cleans, and oven doesn't cook evenly. Management does absolutely nothing to make residents happy or find a solution. Our unit isn't even what we were shown before moving- yellow paint and worn down everything. I have high expectations for the price I am paying and for how this place is advertised, I would say pretty false advertising. I love this area and wish i enjoyed living here more, but it's a poorly run community. The clubhouse is beautiful and clean and modern, but doesn't reflect the other buildings/areas here sadly. The dog park is great and location is great, so i do like that. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere, the legacy flats are the same price/location and significantly nicer all around. Cannot wait to move!

The worst apartment I've ever lived in. We moved here because it was cheap and they were running a "rent special". From the day we moved in it's been a horrendous headache to deal with. The property manager is one of the rudest people I've ever met. After our first time meeting with her it left a bad taste in our mouth but we ignored it because the rent was cheap and the special would give us one month free. Bad decision. The month we were supposed to get free was never completely taken off. We had to ask multiple times for this to be rectified. But good luck getting ahold of an actual person because the property manager is gone 80% of the time. Maybe as a company they're okay, but this specific property is awful. It's disorganized, not a single person knows how to communicate with another person, leaving the residents to solve their issues themselves or by going above those who run the leasing office. Deciding to move here was a huge mistake. I NEVER leave bad reviews like this but I felt this was important. Of all the apartments I've lived in over the years I've never once had an issue with the management. I have perfect rental history and am a generally understanding person. Don't waste your time or money here.

Well, we had a tough time moving in. But it's been a year now and we are renewing our lease. It's been great. The maintenance, rarely needed, is so organized and professional. Brittany is a great manager and so cordial and attentive to the residents. The apartments are very nice and new. But nothing tops the extreme hard work and kindness of the management and staff that really make this apartment complex a great place to live.

If it were possible to give this Housing Community a "0", I certainly would! This is the worst housing couple I have ever had an experience with! My Daughter will be attending University of Nebraska, Omaha in the fall; she was trying to find a place to live and found Springs at Legacy Commons and was very excited....that is until she tried contacting them!When she called the number to the apartments it went to a Call Center that had NO idea what they were taking about...pricing...floor plans...leases...etc.. So she then got the number to the complex and came across the Leasing Manager (Wanda) who stated she would send over the necessary paperwork to get them going. Days went by and no paperwork; my daughter called them again, no answer on the phone, no return call from the message left. Her boyfriend then called, talked to Wanda who told him the same thing, she would send the paperwork via email. Again, day went by with nothing to show! My Daughter and her boyfriend then asked his mother who is a Realtor to call them thinking maybe she could assist. Wanda proceeded to tell her that she does not talk to realtors! When his mother asked about pricing because the price keeps raising and they are trying to lock in; she was told that "it does not matter what pricing they see online until they receive it in an email or letter"! What a GREAT SCAM! Wanda will not answer you until pricing hits the "High" and then will answer you so she gets a bigger BONUS! I have your number on this one Wanda!Both kids then came to me because they really liked the apartments and its location...SO...I called the Corporate office where I spoke to Whitney who proceeded to tell me she understood their frustration and would send an email to the Regional Manager and to give them 48 hours...we gave them the weekend PLUS 48 hours and still have not heard back! My Daughter even called Whitney...no answer...no return call! Seems to be the company theme!!At this point I advised these kids to go to a "Plan B" because it is painfully obvious that this place is not truly in the business of renting apartments BUT extracting as much money out of you as possible! The sad thing is this young couple who will both be new to the area and trying to move into the next phase of their life was given a very bitter taste for Omaha! She will be there for at least two year and he is fresh out of college, starting a new job!Way to go Springs at Legacy Commons....you get the Boner of the Year Award!If you are looking for a place to live in Omaha, I would steer clear of here! As I advised my Daughter...if they are this negligent with what would be new and easy money...how bad would it be if you lived there and truly needed their assistance!

Like many other reviewers I have to say the property manager Nicole is a pompous arrogant ass. She talks down to people and makes absolutely no effort to help with anything. The people working in the office aren't much better. Don't know who the dude is that comes in one day a week but he's got the personality of cardboard. After moving to a different set of apartments you can see how inferior everything actually was here. Cabinets ,sinks, and everything is second rate. The noise is second to none. The pool was supposed to close at nine but rarely did on weekends with lots of parties. You could tell lots of the people using the pool weren't from the complex but management obviously couldn't. If you live in 2840 the noise from deliveries to Rosa at 4 o'clock in the morning is ridiculous. Steer clear.

Absolute trash apartment. Our place was destroyed by the previous owners and they never fixed anything even after maintenance requests. Management is one of the most inept group of people I've ever encountered.

If I were you, I would avoid renting here at all costs. The property manager is not only completely rude, but she is incredibly averse to taking responsibility for any of her bad behavior. We had an issue with our account that took 5 months to clear up, and only worked out because I went to her superiors. I went into the office/called to try to talk about it with Nicole at least 3 times and she was never in there. After all was said and done, and we reached an agreement, she still decided to walk over an eviction notice when the balance hadn't been paid in ONE DAY, clearly out of spite. Sadly, it doesn't seem like any repercussions are going to come from this horrible customer service, but hopefully this review will deter anyone from renting here and having to pay hundreds of dollars for a lazy property manager's mistakes.
