Lazlo's Brewery and Grill

My husband and I have been to Lazlo's in Lincoln a few times, so when they opened here in West Omaha, we were elated!We've now been to the Omaha Lazlo's a few times and it's a close second to Lincoln. The service is always above par and very professional. The vibe is casual but a little bit upscale with a lot of wood, stone, and brick accents, along with an industrial look with an exposed ceiling style. There is a bar where you can sit and watch a game or two, and a couple areas of seating with tables at the center and booths along the side. They also have a nice patio outside with a cute vintage looking neon Lazlo's sign.Lazlo's has a nice beer, wine, and cocktail menu. I did a flight of the beers and they come as pretty heavy pours - four 5 oz beers, so 20oz total. I chose the Sun Slinger, Chaco Canyon Gold, Burning Skye, and Mind Over Mango. My favorites were the Burning Skye and Chaco Canyon Gold, because they were lighter and easier to drink. The others were good too, I just have to slowly sip IPAs (Sun Slinger) and don't always love fruity beers (Mind Over Mango), but if you like those things, maybe your favorite will be the opposite of mine.Our favorite thing to get food-wise is the standard Lazlo's Burger. It's always well cooked and extra tasty with their Lazlo's honey mustard sauce. The fries that come with the burger are nice and hearty and also amazing dipped in that honey mustard!We also love the Key Lime Pie for a dessert when we have room left for that. It's creamy and tart, and is topped with a strawberry drizzle that works well together with the sour key lime flavor.Is the cheapest place? Not by a long shot, but you get what you pay for in quality. I think I slightly prefer the Lincoln location because it's a little more "broken in" and warm feeling, but this Omaha Lazlo's location is a solid choice - and a lot closer than Lincoln!

We met with a larger group of family to celebrate a birthday and were seated in the back room. Upon entering the room, I felt quite claustrophobic in the extremely crowded room. I couldn't believe that they had so many people and tables loaded in there. Our server was nice enough, but not very attentive. We didn't see him during the entire time we were eating. Only for orders and for payment.I did enjoy my meal, which was chicken marsala. The sauce was really good and the mashed potatoes were excellent, but the chicken itself was a little flavorless. I also ordered a side salad with honey mustard dressing. I had a couple of bites of my daughter's burger, which was unfortunately a little dry, but she seemed to enjoy her fries quite a bit.I typically enjoy Lazlo's but this experience was a little so-so.

Seriously, what has happened to this place?Our server was super sweet, loved her but the food was rather more towards room temperature when it hit our table.The dessert was a total failure as it was hands down the absolute worst cheesecake I have ever had in my life. It was taken off the bill however, it should have never been served in the first place. It will be more than a minute before I decide to come back. Used to love this place, not so much anymore.

We enjoyed a great time here with our niece. They never rushed us . Everyone loved the food. I had never heard of Lahvosh and was pleasantly surprised. They were bigger than I expected but I made 3 meals out of it. The hubs had the pork ribeye and said it was the best he's had next to his. . The atmosphere is clean, fairly quiet and we are anxious to go back

We had excellent service. The food was delicious and reasonably priced for such delicious fare. The beer was excellent and there were choices to suit most tastes. I had the fresh fish and my husband had the ribs. We had the smoke salmon appetizer. It's set up in a square of booths and we found it easy to converse and not too noisy. I heartily recommend this restaurant.

Lazlo's is your standard American fare. Solid food options, great service, and comfortable dining experience. On this outing, almost all of our selections were fully satisfactory except for the salmon avocado salad. My one critique is how skimpy the salmon fillet was for the entree price. A wedge of bread would have helped round out the meal but the server said Lazlo's removed their bread option awhile ago. So while my dining companions had a robust and filling lunch, I was left feeling a bit lackluster about the salad portion size. My one area of improvement is to serve a larger salmon fillet. That aside, the freshness was on point and the dressing is perfectly paired.

It was an off day and they acknowledged it and made it right! Their bar staff is our favorite place to sit ...Dean watches sports and i have a bloody good Bloody Mary extra spicy like ME! Lavosh is our favorite with salad and amazing homemade house dressing!!

Lazlo's Smoking Gunn burger is the best burger in Omaha. The combination of peanut butter with crispy onions and bacon is a combination you did not know would go so well together.

I recently brought my mom and grandma to come eat here. The waitress I had seemed to be extremely sick which makes me worry about the quality of my food. She continued coughing and I can't help but think my food was covered with whatever she's sick with. I will not be coming back especially if they make the employees work when obviously sick.

Best local food around. Nothing beats the spinach and artichoke dip here. So glad they have an Omaha location.
