Lawrence Youngman Park

I love this park! Tons of land and lots of things to do, for families and kids. My daughter and I come here often to use the lake and/or playground and we always have a fun time. This is one of the only parks in Omaha that considered shade when planning their play areas and benches, which I appreciate!Also a great spot for Geocaching :)

Great park for kids of a wide range of ages. Bucket swings and one small slide. Lots of climbing. Nice teeter totter that works for toddlers and older kids. Overall really great park with a lot of options (especially for younger kids). All of the equipment is on sand, so make sure you plan accordingly for footwear. Most kids had shoes off when we were there, but the sand would be hot in the afternoon as there isn't a ton of shade.
