I've now been here twice for treatment on terrible sores on my legs; so I've only gone to the dermatology department on the 3rd floor. My doctor is Megan Arthur and she is wonderful. Very kind, completely professional, and she actually CALLED ME to talk about the biopsy she took from my legs. In my experience I never speak to the actual doctor. Usually it's a nurse or receptionist, or a letter in the mail. I'm actually from South Sioux City, NE which is about 2 hours north of here. Two doctors in Sioux City, IA couldn't figure out what was wrong with me; but Dr. Arthur did! As of now my only treatment is to receive an infusion 3 times a week back home and keeping my legs/sores clean. I'd provide a picture but they're all pretty gruesome. I'm a bit afraid someone would report my review if I showed my sores. Great parking here. Restrooms and water fountains all over. Amazing waiting area and there's a small cafe on the first floor if you wanna grab a coffee and a snack. I hope they can get these sores taken care of. They are so painful.

Have now been on a 14-month excursion for relief for my back pain; my spine is severely degenerated, with compression, herniated disc and several vertebra slipping forward and back. The joint doctor sends me to the spine doctor, who sends me to physical therapy, which makes the situation worse. After 14 months of no relief and ever-increasing pain, I am back at absolute Square One referred back to the same spine surgeon who sent me away last January. Not even sure if I will bother to keep that appointment, since he'll just refer be BACK to physical therapy; I currently AM attending physical therapy and Friday THEY told me not to get any back surgery, it will only make me worse. Now I don't know WHO to believe. Might be easiest to just seek an entirely new orthopedic practice, as I have joint replacements plus orthopedic hand issues and I'm tired of running all over town, seeking 2nd, 3rd and 4th opinions. At least I know there is no docor at THIS practice who wants to improve my quality of life and get me out of this life-altering pain cycle.

I've had 2 procedures done here since ot opened. I can only speak for my experiences with Deibert and Armstrong, (urology and orthopedic with a specialty on hand to elbow), and both have been spectacular. The facility is new, very nice inside, and extremely well equipped. One of the vest parts about this addition to the bed center is it has its own parking so you dont have to deal with the kerfluffle that is the main parking garage as well. When you walk in your greeted by friendly staff and promptly checked in. From there they give you a buzzer like they do when you go to the olive garden on a friday night and theres a 6 hour wait. I've yet to actually make it to the waiting area to sit down before its gone off saying its time for me to go back to a room. The bedside manner of the anesthesists has been fabulous, as has every practioner I've been to here.

Drs. Garvin & Firestone are awesome! But the rest of the team I've dealt with, not so much. I do like that they are out of that crazy maze the Durham Outpatient Center has become.

Unfortunately I've spent more time here than I would like due to knee issues and a ruptured Achilles tendon (ouch!). This new Nebraska Medicine facility is like a one stop shop for all things orthopedic. Exam rooms and spacious physical therapy gym are on the first floor. The second floor contains the Fritch Surgery Center. Parking is pretty easy breezy especially if lucky enough to get a spot up top right by the front entrance (additional parking and garage below). Plenty of handicapped stalls and wheelchairs provided at each entrance. There is also a small café on the first floor where my spouse was able to grab a quick lunch during my outpatient procedure so he didn't have to leave the building. Everything here is new, attractive and spacious. I've also been very pleased with my doctor, physical therapist, nurses and other staff I've interacted with here.

The three stars are for Doctors Garvin and Firestone [lower extremities and hand, respectively]. Would have been five stars if the spinal doctor would have actually listened when I said physical therapy causes more harm than good. Now I'm in more pain than ever and have to find a new doctor and start all over with my lower back issue.
