Save yourself the money, time, and sanity by not living here. I wanted to like it, but it is horrible. The apartments themselves are alright. Some staff members are so kind. But the functionality of your place/home will be inconsistent. Upper management seems to be the problem.

I currently live here and would not recommend it to anyone who lives here. I was super excited to live here because it was one of the only apartments with good parking! As soon as we moved in two of my friends were not given parking spots that they already paid for. We were also promised a gift card for signing our lease early and my two other friends and I still haven't received it. The management is unprofessional and all the employees are slightly trained teenagers. They keep charging me random fees that were not mentioned on the lease. As soon as we moved in, there were several maintenance problems such as the washer being broken, 0 smart tvs (we paid for smart tvs), and our kitchen drawers were broken. I also would not recommend living here if your voice is louder than a whisper or they will give you a fine. :/

Worst management ever. Screwed us over multiple times. They do not care about you here. There are also homeless people wandering around sleeping in the elevator lobbies. There are also armed robberies that have occurred and latitude never discussed it or made an announcement, we had a police officer tell us about the info and his concern for our safety. Went down to the office one time and had a great convo with the ONLY employee because the management quit and went somewhere else, at the end of the conversation she told me that I shouldn't renew my lease and that I should "get out of here ASAP". If I could rate less than a star I would!

If you're interested in renting here I highly advise against it. They falsely advertise amenities during the tour (like a functioning pool and hot tub). Many of the "perks" and updates are not actually offered. They offer bonuses for signing/referring/renewing, but do not actually pay tenants. Male staff sexually harass women, and overall the building is very unsafe for young women. Maintenance and property management are very poor. I would speak to a current tenant about their experience before signing.

Very poor customer service when you have a dispute. They will not call you back and they give you the run around. When we moved into the unit, the unit was not painted or cleaned as they said it would be so we had to clean it ourselves but reported it to property management so that we would not be charged when we moved out. Of course, when we moved out, they charged us for it and when I filed a dispute, the were non-responsive. I even spoke to CA Ventures (parent company) but they sent me back to the property management in Lincoln (both Becky and Vanessa M.). No one would call me back even after multiple attempts for over 4 months. I would not recommend!

For any student looking for a place to rent off campus, this is not the place to go. It is way over priced for a small space - they love showing students a room that looks big and then put them into a tiny apartment unlike the spec apartment they bought into. They charge for a full months rent for August but don't let them move in until August 17th (no prorated amount). They charge each tenant $150 cleaning fees PRIOR to move in and then when they move into a filthy, disgusting apartment that is not cleaned - good luck getting a hold of Becky. You call, they say she only takes emails that she doesn't reply back to EVER! Management is horrible at this place. Would not recommend to anyone, such a disappointment!

I will start by saying the apartments themselves are very nice and I enjoy the amenities. College staff and maintenance who work there are great and very friendly and helpful. So 5/5 for that. Where I am left extremely dissatisfied though is with upper management. When i tried to bring up concerns I had the lady essentially steam rolled me and did not take anything I had to say seriously. I felt as though the experience was unprofessional. 0/5 for that experience.

Off to a terrible start for my daughter with Latitude, and she hasn't moved in yet. She is in a sorority and needs to move in early to begin her required activities. I would assume this is very common given the vast variety of Greek life and athletics at UNL.She requested to move in 10 days early to meet her obligations, which was no problem at Academy last year. The only option Latitude gave her was to move in "as-is. This means she, and her three other roommates are fully responsible for damage from the previous tenants. Who would sign up for that. After several call by my daughter, her roommates, and myself, there is no resolution. The two "managers" I talked to could only tell me that they have a very busy schedule they need to stick to and this was all they could offer. Terrible customer service. There are better options out there.

Haven't even moved in yet and already disappointed. For months me and my roommate were told that the move-in date was unknown for all of the tenets until July. I will be a part of a sorority and needed to move in early and now the apartment is claiming that I cannot move in until the 17th which is three days after I will have needed to be there. This ruins my chance of participating in Greek life. They also have not told us if we will have a third roommate, with some stuff tenants would like to know at least before they move in. Also even though we are moving in the 17th this apartment complex does not prorate rent so you're paying the full month even though you will not be there for more than two weeks. I was also told that we would be able to move in early, but the apartment did not let us know or contact us to say that this option is only if you directly ask so now I've waited too long to even be eligible for early move-in. And out of the 350+ tenants only 40 people are allowed to move in early. We decided this apartment because it seemed like the more affordable of all options for us being college students but I would not recommend it's a scam. They call themselves an apartment, but put stipulations on their tenants as if we were still living in the dorm. I already know that I will not be renewing my lease for next year and although they tell people who are dissatisfied with the service to contact the latitude apartment team they really don't take your complaints seriously.
