Lansky's

Ordered a bacon cheeseburger pizza with only half onion for take out. Great pizza and great service. Never been here before but we will be returning customers. Thank you for a great experience.

Being so close to where we live, only a couple of times have stayed and eaten.Last time we ate sitting at a table I will say it was 'sticky' .....so say this for anyone to check and see if they have been cleaned, but also owners/manager to be aware of itWe 'usually' buy the Philly sandwiches, then take them home.WHY? well they seem to do a better job of them than most other places near me. Two things that we like and want to make a reader aware of is;A. they actually fill the buns with meat...now that might not seem like a major event but consider how often you buy a burger and when checking realize only about 1/2 of the bun is actual meat? They offer onions and mushrooms for toppings, at a cost.B. When you order fries, we only get 1 order, because they are much larger than anyplace else, in this area. BUT!, they are the standard 'fake' fries as I prefer to call it. They are mushed potatoes taken out of a bag in the freezer. BUT!, what is offered is generous.It does take longer than you would respect from most places, but that is because they are NOT made ahead.I recommend it!. Now pizzas and calzones are also available, but this is a place I will go to BECAUSE I am hungry for something specific...for me it is the Philly's

Best calzone I've ever eaten. Alfredo pizza was amazing. Reasonable prices. Definitely recommend trying it out.

Great service. Very nice servers. Food is good the chicken alfredo pizza was my favorite. I would recommend if you just want a cheap meal. This is a good start in Council Bluffs

I usually only think to get a philly from Lansky's, but their pizza is pretty good too. We recently picked up the Butcher's Special to go and it was great. We also had the ravioli and cheese bread and liked both of them as well. My family loves pizza and we like to try different places. We'll definitely be adding Lansky's to our list of go to local places!

Our family believes this is one of the tastiest places to come for pizza hands down. This place should be the king for pizza. It's not fancy but the pizza is good. This place isn't fancy but it's good. We like the veggie supreme, Quattro Formaggio and buffalo chicken! Nice to have gluten-free pizza too! If we want pizza in Omaha/Council Bluffs it's Lansky's. We have only ever been to the council bluffs location.

Our first visit. Order at the counter and they bring the food to you. Reasonably priced and large portions of pasta.You can pick a pasta with sauce. We ordered linguine with beer cheese sauce and rigatoni with beer cheese sauce. The rigatoni is really penne. The sauce is thick and tastes like beer cheese soup. It was good.The French dip was dry but the au jus sauce was good.Garlic toast was the best part. About 4 or 5 miles from I-80.

Lansky's has been one of my favorite places to eat pizza for quite a long time. If you want a nice flavorful pizza with plenty of toppings and a thin crust, this is the place to be. One of my other favorite items is the Italian sausage calzone It's giant and a very good value the marinara sauce they give you with the calzone has big chunks of tomatoes and a really good flavor. I'm not a big marinara fan, but I do like theirs a lot. I wish that they had a few more beer options but it's not about the beer here it's about the food!

The food is always pretty good. However, be prepared for a steep jump in prices. The menus posted do not reflect the current prices. A cheeseburger pizza that I got was at least $9 higher. When I brought this up, the person pointed to a handwritten sign at the register. I brought up why not change the menus and got the answer we are a small business and it's too expensive-for paper menus.

As a former employee I have to say this is one of the worst restaurants in Council Bluffs. To work for, and to eat at. There are many unsanitary and frankly disgusting areas in the back and I feel bad for the poor suckers that pay the outrageous prices. Not to mention the owner of the place is not a good person that should be supported. I'll leave you with a direct quote from her for you to sit on: "you're only paid what you're worth" (I believe they are hiring at around $10 an hour right now) It's sad she believes her workers are worth 10 an hour.
