The room was clean and appeared to have been recently renovated. There were plenty of electrical outlets conveniently located throughout the room. The bed was comfortable, and the water pressure in the shower was surprisingly good. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay, and I would recommend this establishment to others. Although the exterior of the building may give the impression of being rundown or neglected, the interior is quite the opposite. However, it is important to note that there is no elevator in the building, so it is advisable to pack light.

The room was comfortable, but the faucet in the tub was stripped and could not be turned off. There was no maintenance staff on hand to repair it. At 11 pm we did not want to change rooms, so we just shut the door to the bathroom and went to bed. In the morning when I went to check out, I once again explained the situation to the desk clerk and he acted like it was all our fault rather than apologize to me for the inconvenience. Then there was the breakfast -- when we went to have breakfast the only offerings that were hot were waffles and instant oatmeal. No eggs or other type of protein. They were out of most everything and it was pretty sad. I would choose another place to stay if I were coming back to Omaha. Also the fitness room was filled with junk. It was decent and clean but nothing more.

DO NOT book! This place is HORRIBLE! I rented two rooms for my family and another family member. First walked into the lobby it appears clean with bright lights and colorful furniture. They placed us on the 4th floor. Right off the elevator it was dark and gloomy, a total opposite from floor one. Kept walking and the wall colors reminded me of a scary movie asylum with that greenish-mint color through out the hallways. We walked into the studio room and there was a huge jacuzzi tub that had 2 strands of hair in it. Yuk! Never went near that. Next the bed had a dead fly on the bed which was probably because the window was left slightly open and the bed also had a strand of long hair on the bed near the pillows. The small blue velvet couch had pillows that had white stains on them which I really didn't want to know where that came from so we threw them on the floor behind the couch. We used the couch to hold our luggage and not for seating. The room was so dark I had to use my phone light to look in my suitcase. There was only two little bedside table lights, a small desk light, the dim jacuzzi light, the light near the door and the bathroom light. Because we were already there and it was late we decided to stay. Around midnight the fire alarm went off. I went to try and call the front desk and the phone didn't work. The other room with 2 queen beds the bathroom lights went out and we couldn't figure out why. I was too tired from traveling all day we said forget it and went to sleep. Next morning told the receptionist about everything I mentioned above and she said oh sorry sometimes people smoke in their rooms and we have to find them and turn the alarm off. She also said that they have a new phone system being installed and some rooms have working phones and some don't. For the broken bathroom light she was going to send the engineer. We were gone all day came back in the evening and lights weren't working still in the other room. Told the receptionist lights are still not working and I would like another room. She said hold on went around the corner and talked to someone. They said the breaker isn't working and they went up to check. Apparently a switch that had no sign to keep on was turned off and that was the reason bathroom lights didn't work. I said ok my fault thank you and please have someone clean our rooms for the next day. She wrote it down on two pieces of paper and said I will let them know. Next day we attended the funeral came back to our rooms and they were not clean. Went down to tell the same lady from yesterday no one came to clean my rooms. She started looking for the little pieces of paper saying oh I'm sorry and attempted to get someone to go up there at 7pm to clean both rooms. I told her don't bother it's too late my family was taking a nap and she said oh so you don't want me to get someone up there to clean. I told her I did but for this morning and not at 7pm. Last night there in the studio room another fly on the ceiling and 4 lady bugs crawling on the ceiling and on the walls with the window closed. Probably from the crack above the window. We had a 6am flight so we said a few more hours and we will be out of this dungeon. We should have just cancelled and went somewhere else but this hotel charged the entire stay plus deposit from my card there was no refunds. So, I HIGHLY suggest DO NOT stay here unless you're ok with critters crawling on the ceiling, hair on the beds and in the tubs, stains, dark rooms at night and no cleaning service only upon request and never comes.

My family (plus dog) and I stayed exclusively at La Quinta Inns for a cross-country road trip, and all were great except this one. The place was sketchy and dirty, but we figured we'd just stay for one night and suck it up. We were given the wrong room, so I asked the front desk to give us the one I'd reserved. it took 3 guys huddled around the computer to do it. The next room they gave us was the correct 2 Queen bed, but the room smelled horribly of cigarettes and one of the mattresses was covered with mold. I told the front desk that this wasn't going to work for us and they didn't even ask why or try to make it right. We stayed at the Residence Inn which was wonderful. I wish I'd heeded the Yelp reviews before I booked this place but was glad to have the advice of checking the mattress.

We had an amazing time staying here. We did end up moving hotels because we are staying long term and the prices can get really high but we loved it. The cleaning ladies are absolutely amazing. They allow pets and in the designated pet hall, the pets stay free. The rooms are clean and comfortable.

I'm usually a big fan of LaQuinta-- but this is one that has really let me down. Upon arrival, my first complaint was that the room smelled-- even putting the fan/ac on high did nothing to help it (even by morning). I actually put a bar of soap in the cooling vent to try to get a better smell. My second complaint was that the ice machine on the 1st floor was broken- when I asked the front desk clerk where a working unit was, she nastily advised upstairs in the same place as the other. I was somewhat glad to have been staying on the 1st floor- the hall on the second floor near the (working) ice machine smelled horrible. Breakfast was also a joke- packaged Rice Krispies, a container of milk, children's yogurt, a packaged muffin, and an orange. All carbohydrates and sugar- no protein- and certainly not ready at 6am (I had to wait as she bagged it for me). Definitely not a great place. The other La Quinta in Omaha is a better bet.

This property gets two stars only for clean sheets and a gracious staff. They deserve a better facility to manage. We have stayed at many La Quinta hotels. Some of the worse in the country (Houston???). This needs major work. The bath has significant mold, rust, and water damage. The walls, doors, and ceiling all need major replacement. The carpet in the halls have significant stains. There are two nice grassy pet areas and four electrical outlets for RV's - which would be a better place to stay than the hotel.

I am the head coach for a large Special Olympics delegation. We recently stayed at your property at 10760 M STREET, OMAHA, NE. This was easily one of the worst experiences of my life. I reserved 27 rooms at $148 per night. My total stay was nearly $4000. 1. 1 room reeked of cigarette smoke, though it was not smoking. The room they moved her to wasn't much better2. The hallway reeked of pot smoke3. The entire building was musty and mildewy4. 5 showers were not functional. When I spoke to the front desk, they said they were, we just had to pull harder on the knob. While I will say that worked on 2 of them, we nearly pulled the knob out of the wall. Still not functional in my book. One only had cold water. 5. 1 shower had mold growing near the top of the shower. 6. The carpet in my room was wet with mildew7. One chaperone had her vehicle broken in to8. One chaperone ended up with very serious bed bug bites9. We were not told there is no elevator on this property. This is a Special Olympics team (they were told this upon reservation). Many of our athletes have mobility issues. We got enough rooms on the first floor to accommodate the ones with the biggest issues with the stairs. 10. one athlete can not shower, but needed a bathtub. There was not stopper in the tub. Chaperone went to the front desk to ask for one and was told they didn't have anything, to use a washcloth. In that same room, when the chaperone went to take a shower, it set off the fire alarm. 11. When the front desk was told of the pot smell, they said they would "look in to it", but this continued to be an active issue as it was never cleared out and the room where it was coming from continued to have people in it smoking pot. 12. There was a major hump in the tub with one of the showers. This shouldn't be a big problem, but when you have athletes with mobility and balance issues, it IS a problem.13. In this same shower, there was absolutely no way to take a shower without getting water everywhere. The shower head wouldn't move and it shot water all over. We cleaned it up, but it was crazy14. Also in the same room, the floor was "soft" in front of the bathroom door. Obviously from the water issues. ( I would guess this is why the carpet had mildew).I was not expecting a 5 star hotel, but I spent nearly $4000 at this motel. At $148 per room, I would have expected a clean dry room.

I don't see how this place has so many bad reviews. I honestly think local competitors flooded this with false reviews because this is by far the nicest hotel I have stayed in in this area so far. I am here for work and have been at several so far and thus La Quinta is very clean, the staff is friendly, no mold smell (if you like mold go to Motel 6 or Sketchy 8) the wifi is fast and easy to connect to, the rooms look really nice and furnished for a hotel this cheap, the brands of soap are pretty high quality for a hotel this cheap, the refrigerator and microwave are by far the nicest you'll ever see in a hotel in this price range. This is only my first day but so far I can't see how this place has 55 bad reviews.
