Check in was easy on the app and just put a cc down with a really pleasant young man. Had an excellent sleep on a King size bed with great AC and nice sized room. In the morning took an energizing shower with great water pressure and steady hot water. The pool/jacuzzi were out of service due to maintenance but the gym was open and had adequate equipment. The breakfast was standard continental breakfast with waffles, cereal, hard boiled eggs, biscuit and gravy, juice, fruit. It is a bit off the 80 but worth the sleep and price. Overall I highly recommend.

The good: didn't feel like I would be raped or robbed in the middle of the night. The sheets seemed clean.The bad: very smoky room without toilet paper. The pillows were very lumpy and weird. No breakfast. Dirty carpets, furnishings, halls and hallways. Gross bathroom with funky molds. Not worth $200 night.

Not to be confused with Lake Uinta. Which is a Lake. Whereas this is a hotel. Not a lake.Large and average-looking hotel up in the north suburbs of Lincoln, close to my favourite bubble tea shop in town, and the rooms are anywhere from cheap to mid-price depending on which site you look for them on and what time of year it is - unless there is a football game in which case you might pay quite a lot, or find them sold out. Luckily there wasn't, when we stayed here.It's a pretty good hotel and not one of the worst ones I've stayed in. It doesn't smell bad and the people working here were perfectly friendly.

If I could give this place a lower score I would. I was so upset when I arrived and learned that the hot tub was not working. I specifically called just a few days earlier, when I was booking my room to make sure that the hot tub was indoors and working and was assured that it was. This was so unacceptable to me and the only reason I booked at this hotel - I have only ever stayed at 1 La Quinta that I was happy with and I believe that was in Lenexa, MO so I should not have been surprised.The room was okay but it was on the first level. I had already told the guy working the front desk how unhappy I was about the hot tub so when I got to the room and hated the room, I felt like I was being petty, but the more time I spent in it, the more unsafe and unhappy I felt. I barely slept at all that night - the heater wasn't working right but I didn't realize it until morning - it was set to be 66 in the room but was significantly warmer. The thing that was most unsettling though was the fact my window faced this small dark tree surrounded parking lot which was empty and my window could be opened and did not seem to lock. My one regret is not requesting/demanding a different room, but I don't think it will pose a problem for me in the future, because I have no intention of staying here again.

So pleased with the renovated rooms and the friendly staff. If you haven't stayed here since the completed renovation, you should give it another try. La Quinta Inn recently merged with Windham Hotels. I called ahead to ask for a room on the east side of the building which is my preference for this location. The young lady who answered the call made sure that I got exactly what I requested. Plus she texted me when my room was ready for my arrival. New carpet. New paint. The alarm clock on the bedside table has ports for charging electronics. Plus the new table and bedside lamps have extra plugs for electronics. HVAC worked well for a cold front arrival and I needed the room warmed up quickly. HVAC is not noisy and airflow is comfortable. LED lighting instead of faint/yellow fluorescent lighting throughout room including bathroom. The lights in the room are bright, nice. I appreciate LQ big fluffy towels and we have a plentiful supply in our bathroom. The bed and pillows are very comfortable. I can always count on LQ for a great sleep experience. Breakfast area is large and food is adequate.

If I could give this a lower score, I would. The pictures on the website do not accurately depict the "bad" area in which the hotel is located. It eas extremely loud on the first night. The room was not clean, at all and I slept in full pants, long sleeve shirt, and socks. The second night staying there, I realized I had roommates!! Two cockroaches were playing in my sink in the bathroom. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!!

Had a family issue come up and tried to cancel my reservation, they refused even though I paid the extra money at time of booking. Sounded like I was talking to customer support in India. Extremely unhelpful, and uncooperative. But is free money for them, I guess.

My wife and I with our animals stayed here on the sixteenth of September 2022 while traveling cross country. Friendly desk clerk, decent room. the only issue we have is with the cleanliness. We were laying in separate beds watching tv and as I looked over at my wife I see a massive bug on her pillow case. Took a picture and google searched it, turns out it was a bed bug and a rather large one. Talked to the desk clerk the next morning at check out, showed her the pictures of the bug and google search, she was mortified, tried to find the manager who was not present at the time, and she said the manager would call me later in the day. Never heard a word from the manager or anyone from la Quinta. Completely unsatisfactory and would never stay in a $400 room with bed bugs with them again. Would add pictures if I could. Avoid if possible.
