La Petite Academy on S. 140th St

This La Petite is truly incredible. My time working here was unfortunately pretty short lived due to a very unexpected emergency which caused me to move states, but the staff here are wonderful people who truly care about the kids. My daughter attended here as well, and she absolutely developed amazing skills so quickly! Every evening I was so impressed with what she had learned that day. Kids hands (even babies!) get washed frequently, the rooms and toys are cleaned and sanitized every night, and tables are cleaned after every meal, laundry is done everyday, which I have not seen many other daycares/learning centers do. The best place for your child to be while you're working, and truly the best job I have ever had!! I honestly can't rave about La petite enough, highly recommend to anyone who needs care for their little one or who needs a job with an incredible staff who makes you feel like family.

When I was younger I had to go there and I couldn't even last a week. I sat all alone in the corner, no staff paid attention to me, they expect me to do whatever and they feed me carrots and milk for snacks. I'm allergic to carrots and lactose intolerant, so you know what I had to eat? Nothing, I hope they've improved their service and I transferred to different day care 4 days later.

This is the absolute best daycare ever! I had to switch my 1yr old son to this one because his older daycare (Childrens Express on 84th st) he was constantly getting hurt and neglected and I was signing incident forms like every week. My son has been coming to La Petite on Q st. ever since and it's been over a year now and he loves it and has learned soo much and hasn't had one incident yet! I know kids get hurt from time to time but to not have one incident from this place is amazing! They have live camera so you can watch you kids during the day and they have the bright wheels app so they take pics of them doing activities and playing and update you on when they eat,get changed, and sleep! I couldn't ask for a better daycare! Even though I need later hours and wished they stayed open later so I can work, I refuse to take him anywhere else so I'm looking for another job with earlier hours. That's how much I love this place! Im willing to sacrifice my job for another just to keep him in La Petite cause I don't trust any other daycare!
