The pupusas are the best here! Always golden and slightly crunchy with melty cheese and meat that combine so well with the coleslaw topping. The sopes are great if you want another option or a break from pupusas. The chicken tamal had great flavor, savory and the dough was perfect! Great topped with the tomato sauce. The service was quick and we enjoyed every bit of it, every time!

We love a small whole in the wall place. So as we drove by this little Salvadoran restaurant, I searched yelp and Yesss. I now have a place to get my Al pastor taco fix. The pupusa's are darn delicious and made fresh when you order. The mixed pupusa is my fav. We sat at a table and ate in, the lady at the register was a great waitress. We had to order extra pupusa's for my son. They were that good. All I have to say is yummy; yummy, yummy delicious.

This place is amazing. A tiny little hole in the wall. Everything tasted amazing. The pupusas were light and full of flavor and the al pastor was extremely flavorful...

I found La Choza on an on list list of the best Mexican restaurants in each state. How could this be? The "best Mexican restaurant in Nebraska" and I read about it first online? Well, obviously I had to go check it out.First, this place is Authentic. Capital A. I don't believe they speak fluent English, but the menu is in English and Spanish and the folks there are absolutely wonderful and friendly and so helpful. I actually consider this a plus. The restaurant is pretty small and cozy. Maybe 8 or 10 tables. I've been three times now and never had a problem getting seated. The place is comfortable and clean. I ordered the Combo #4. Two El Salvadorian style tamales and fried plantains. (About $7.50 or $8.00) The tamales were fantastic. Great flavor and very filling. The plantains were the best I've eaten. Slightly sweet with a little crunch to them. Just perfect. I'll definitely be back again and again.

Really amazing food! We had the #2, #4, and chicken fajitas with pupusas. The salsas are SPICY but very flavorful. I got a horchata and it was one of the best I've ever had. We've never had food from El Salvador before so this was all new to us!

This place is known for their al pastor. I got a combo of al pastor tacos and papusas - I think the papusas were actually the dark horse winner

I was in South Omaha for a appointment and have been craving some Salvadoran Pupusas for a while. I looked on yelp and found La Choza and decided to get takeout. They are open for takeout, were polite and fairly priced. I order 2 of each type of pupusa (cheese, fried pork skin and mix). Also we got 3 pastor tacos and a mango smoothie to go. I was more than enough food for 2 and everything tasted good. I would recommend and will return when we are craving them again.

Absolutely a must stop! for some great food!I loved the El Salvadorian influences in the food.Omaha's Best Tacos were had here!!! There was so much flavor and such great tastes with all the pieces. they were out of the Barbacoa so I must return again. The Empanada's were also Fabulous. I do not think there was any breading with them and it was all plantain. I will have to confirmAlso I had a banana milk shake that was perfect! This was a stop with the uye taco group. everything went great and I have a new favorite taco place!! However the Chips and Salsa that were complimentary were blahhh! But they were free!Great find Paul!!

Food is amazing. The only bad review is someone that used the drive thru. They don't have a drive thru so they posted the wrong company. Number 3 is my favorite but everything is good

This place is slept on! My friends and I decided to give it a try because our taco place was closed. BUT I DONT THINK WE WILL BE GOING BACK TO OUR ORIGINAL TACO SPOT. The pupusas are amazing. If you're in the area give it a visit
