Note to self: Nice upscale Indian restaurant in Regency. The pakora was next level! Clearly came out freshly made. And the quantity was insanely generous for $8. Chickpea coating was also uniquely seasoned and delicious as well as the mint chutney that came with it (which I am usually not a fan, but it was a perfect compliment). Order pakora every time!The aloo gobi was just ok. Not my favorite take on the dish, and for "medium" spice level it was blazingly spicy! I'd give it 3 stars. But the pakora, service and atmosphere rounds this place up to a 5. Just try a different entree next time.

I came here with hopes of tasting delicious Indian cuisine, and I left with those hopes fulfilled. Until today, I didn't have much experience with Indian food, but thanks to the sampling tray (Thali), I discovered that I really enjoy masala chicken, curry chicken, butter chicken, butter naan, and the potatoes. The food was wonderfully prepared and absolutely delicious.Our server was very nice, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, which made the experience even better. I should mention that the ambiance of the restaurant was quite upscale, so it's definitely a place where you'd want to dress up a bit.Overall, with great food, a pleasant atmosphere, and excellent service, this is definitely a place I'll visit again! :)

Finally got around to trying this place after only ever hearing great things and glad we did! Everything was really, really great. Went there to celebrate with the fam. Amazing cocktails, food, desert, apps. Everything was really good. Liked the atmosphere. They have a kids menu too. My boys loved it! My seven year old said he wants to have his bday dinner there so we will be accommodating that request when that day arrives. We all had a great dinner and hang. The chef came out and asked how everything was which was nice. Our server was great and knowledgeable about the menu and had good recommendations. I recommend the lamp chop on the bone. I forget what the dish was as it was a special but it was really good.The desert menu made an appearance too. Got the sticky dare pudding - super good. Will definitely be returning! Should've taken a pic but wolfed everything down. Ha.

Kinaara has become a go to lunch spot for me. Even before it came to regency I would visit the Millard spot. Everyone that I take there for the first time raves about the food, and usually goes back on their own. My last visit I tried the mushroom curry and it was amazing. The medium spice level was perfect for me. Service was excellent as usual. Pro tip- if you get the biryani you will have up to 4 meals leftover! The naan is also delicious. I recommend the garlic rosemary m!

Kinaara, what a great ethnic restaurant addition to Omaha! And, also quite surprising to what was once a West Omaha restaurant move East...very rare to see this. Often times restaurants start in East Omaha and get demand to open a second location out West...which can be hard on local restaurants to manage two locations. Kinaara's original location was out in Millard but have since moved to Regency Shopping Center. And am I glad to see that they are thriving, and the quality of food has not been lacking. Kinaara is a great affordable option to the Regency Shopping Center. Be sure to make a reservation because they do get very busy, and I know their take-out is very popular. Though we had a reservation, we had to wait an additional 15 minutes which we don't mind. People can get very upset about this, but Kinaara is certainly well worth the wait!We started the evening off with an the Lasuni Gobi appetizer, it's a great light vegan option with the cauliflower. Next up, I am a sucker for Chicken Tikka Masala (medium heat) ...it is often my favorite. But sometimes I'll mix it up for the Vindaloo. The spices & sauce on the Tikka Masala is so good and is even better with one of the Naan breads to dip. I am always real impressed with the owner of Kinaara, each time I've dined-in he comes by every table and ask how everything is with your meal...what exceptional service! It seems like even very expensive steakhouses or restaurants lack or have forgotten this touch of service anymore. Kinaara sets not even just Indian restaurants but other higher priced restaurants apart with this level of service. We happen to be at Kinaara during their Hindu festival, Dewali, and they treated us to a free desert sampler with five different deserts. I honestly can't remember the names of them other than the rice pudding, but the fried donut looking one & the rice pudding were my favorites. If you want tasty affordable Indian food with exceptional service and a great inside vibe, you have got to try Kinaara!

I stand corrected. The service has been consistently improving for the past 6 months. Had stellar service this evening, so the restaurant has clearly been doing work to focus on the experience. Back among my favorite spots for a great meal and service.

Super great Indian spot randomly in Omaha with an incredibly talented and passionate chef. Had the fish special (the picture I took looks a mess, but it was absolutely delicious and wrapped like a beautiful package in a banana leaf) which was perfectly spiced and delicious. Ducey was excellent as well

Another great visit to Kinaara! My friend and I are creatures of habit and ordered the same meal as last time, and it was just as good as we remembered. I also added a hot chai tea to my meal, and it was the perfect beverage for a winter evening.In addition to fabulous food, our server, Devin, was super attentive and upbeat. The whole experience was lovely!

I went here for a second time and things were equally as delicious! Our server was extremely friendly and very attentive. This restaurant has a great environment and is perfect for a date night, a small family group, or meeting with friends. My only critique for our meal would be that the fries on the order of Masala Fries were just a little cold (I'm guessing they finished cooking before the chicken and were plated sooner). The flavor was still out of this world!

The food was just at another level. Authentic Indian cuisines which you just can't stop eating.
