Kimberly Creek Retreat

We stayed in the Homestead cabin. I can't speak on the other lodgings but keep in mind that in this cabin there is no tv, no wifi, no closet, and no sink in the bathroom. You will have to brush your teeth and wash your hands in the kitchen sink but, it's all good. Although there is no wifi we still had enough signal to monitor the weather channel on the approaching snow storm. We're Floridians and not used to snow so we wanted to stay informed on what to expect. The attention to detail in and outside of the cabin was very much appreciated. Make sure to do the treasure hunt even if you don't have kids. It was a fun! The only minor suggestion we have is to make the lights above the bed dimmable because they are super bright. But other than that, we loved everything about our stay. We will recommend KCR to everyone we know! Go check them out!

I booked my stay for a little girls weekend getaway for my birthday. We enjoyed our stay and had so much fun. We stayed at the Sanctuary cabin. It was perfect for our 5 girl getaway. I'm from Omaha so it was so fun to find a fun getaway that's only 30 minutes away! Will be staying here again!

Quiet, relaxing and plenty of nearby attractions. We enjoyed our stay and can't wait to come back.

We had such a perfect getaway here! It was a last minute decision for an Omaha getaway. We needed to get out of the house with everything going on with the pandemic, but wanted to go somewhere that wouldn't be around alot of people. This place was absolutely perfect. The owners were a joy to meet. The place comes with everything you could possibly need with your stay, and more. We stayed in the queen dream bubble. It was perfect! We loved how cute the photos turned out for our social media pages too!The place has everything, bath, shower, toaster, microwave, coffee maker, mini fridge, gas fire pit. And I believe a grill which can be added for additional for propane hookup! It was cozy! If you're anything like me you wonder how this works with a side of the bubble with clear plastic. They thought of everything-- there are curtains you pull around the bed loft area for privacy and keep out the light in the morning. Plus it faces a forested area, so privacy is no issue at all. The place is decorated so cute, they did an excellent job. We would stay here anytime!

This place was awesome! Chris and Mike were so gracious- we ran out of gas getting to them, and they not guided us but also went out and got us some gas the next morning. Their attention to detail in the living quarters is beyond reproach. The grounds are beautiful w plenty to do there and in the area. Love the variations of possible lodging set-ups! Reenie

So overpriced not worth it! No WiFi! No privacy, constant noise from maintenance, when you actually need something the responses rude and condescending, all properties stuffed close to each other with noise. Trash was never emptied in 4 days. Hot tubs not working 83 degrees. SO NOT WORTH THE MONEY!!!!

A nice alternative to stuffy crowded hotels. The accommodations were well done and provide a great atmosphere and not that much more expensive than what you would spend for a chain hotel room. I actually liked the fact that there were no televisions in the cabins. Plenty of space for walks. I would have given 5 stars if it were not for a couple little things.I would recommend getting a source for Wi-Fi for business travelers. Making the occupants wash all the dishes before leaving was a little suspect. I hate to rely on the washing capabilities of the last people that stayed there for my meals. It also gave us one more thing to do before having to leave early. An upgrade on the mattresses would be nice. We found the cheap foam one in our cabin impossible to sleep on, but then we are very used to our own.

The location is superb! It's within 20 minutes driving distance to the surrounding state parks and the Omaha area also. We stayed at the Fireside to enjoy the hot tub and fire pit. The hot tub was AWESOME - sheltered by a gazebo and well lit. We lit the firepit every night and during the daytime too. The grill was large and handy to have on the spacious, wrap-around deck. The cabin was well maintained. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the cabin, inside and outside. The rooms, including the bathroom, were perfectly sized. We had so much fun just hanging out at the cabin. We also hiked the trails and my kids very much enjoyed all the snails and frogs. The trees and the layout of the cabin provided excellent privacy. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. Checking in and out was so simple. My husband and I will definitely return without the kids and with them as well. It was the perfect getaway and I highly recommend staying here!! SO amazing!

10/10 recommend! We stayed in the Cranny. It was very clean and has everything you may need. It was a great getaway without being too far, and is close to many nearby activities. The owners were wonderful as well! We will for sure be back!

Paradise within easy driving distance from Omaha /Council Bluffs. We stayed in the King Dome and it was hot outside . The dome was air conditioned. We even had to turn it up because we got too cool and it was 95 outside ! Spotlessly cleaned and decorated so cute . Easy check in and out and the staff greeted us as we arrived . Had everything we needed to shower and get comfortable. Outside we had our own private picnic table , chairs and fire pit along with a propane grill . We instantly relaxed in the serene setting . We didn't get the chance to walk any trails due to the heat but we definitely would have . Ashland was just a hop skip and jump away for a last minute item we needed . Cute little town too ! If you want a unique getaway with family or friends you definitely need to check them out ! We had the best time and are we are ready to book our next stay it was so nice ! Kid friendly and if you have a dog they can recommend a boarding kennel close by if the cabin/ dome isn't pet friendly . Glamping at its best ! A+ all around ! You can even order snacks ahead of time they will deliver right to your door ! Thanks Kimberly Creek for a fantastic stay!
