This a local 'dive' bar, but a safe place to eat or drink.This is essential information about being safe, especially if like me sometimes I just want to try someplace close but small and local.If hadn't met one of their employees in a different setting might not have walked in. We had breakfast there.Actually can be pretty hard to mess up, and it didn't. Although, have been many nicer places that simply can't get you a cup of coffee.We had pancakes with bacon and eggs.IT WAS GOOD!. The waitress was also the owner. She didn't have much time to talk, but enough to know and trust that she wants this place to be good.We need to return for either lunch of dinner. I was told the kitchen stays open a bit later than several other places and we will look into it and probably call to confirm that as there have been a few times when whatever else we were doing coming home was too late for many places.Before finishing, Ambiance??!!Well. small local dive bar! The ambiance is just this. It is an old building and from what I have learned has always been a neighborhood bar. There are no special decorations that make it different..

Stopped here for breakfast while passing through Council Bluffs. As mentioned in other reviews, this is definitely a dive bar in its external appearance. The small parking lot was full. Inside matches the outside in its decor. Bar, pool tables and video games. Several tables were full with what seemed like locals; including five fellas shooting pool and enjoying a round of shots with their meal (guessed they were graveyard shift workers celebrating the start of their weekend). We were served by the owner, an energetic and friendly soul who seemed to know most everyone. The food was basic but very well prepared and a great value. We enjoyed the vibe and will return on our next pass through Council Bluffs.

Always a smiling face, bartenders with that magical mixology and pretty much neighborhood people there. Pool, darts, karaoke, good mucus and amazing drinks. Always a night well spent and it's less than two blocks away. Feel good small neighborhood bar. Perfection

This is one of those places you should not look over. The food is amazing!! Great staff !! An COld beer! Pools tables, games ! Kid friendly !!

If you're looking for atmosphere, it's not here. Kikkers is a dive bar in a cinderblock building, but the service was great and the food was superb! Well worth the drive off the highway.

The best and only reason I go to eat at any bar and grill, fresh food served hot and this place is on fire. The food, drinks, and company are definitely worthy of your attention and time.
