Would not recommend for anyone with any health concern. I visited on a Monday around noon to donate and spent 3 hours of my time getting to the point of the physical. I was told they would contact my doctor. Ok I expected that. A week later I was told on phone I could not donate. Turns out they never even contacted my doctor like they were supposed to and said they did. Also they had me listed as having asthma which my doctors do not even have listed. So if you have any small health issues go to a company that will actually reach out to your doctors office and not make diagnoses up just to deny you.

wait time for someone to even acknowledge you is ridiculous. They are in NO hurry to help. I've been standing at the front desk for 10 minutes. Several employees have seen me yet no one wants to help.

They even let people in under the age of 18, which is so stupid. Mom came here to get her blood donated and I couldn't even go because of these people.

I highly recommend this business. It is a very clean medical facility. The staff is very nice and I have never had to wait there. Your 1st visit will take 3 hours because you need to be put into the system, watch a video, and take a physical before donating. After that, visits take around 60-90 minutes. Do not eat any fatty foods 24 hours before donating.

I went to give plasma at the center at 2002 N St. in Lincoln, NE as someone who's given plasma on and off for years at another plasma center, and when sticking me, they missed a vein and in their attempt to move the needle around and push it into a vein, the asst. manager pressed down very firmly on my arm (above the venipuncture area) for a prolonged period of time and caused a bad bruise to my arm, which I started to notice the next day. The asst. manager also pushed the needle quickly and deeper into my arm trying to push the needle into a vein and this caused a lot of pain for me, which I told him. He was not successful in getting a vein and he did not apologize to me for the pain he caused me, but he acted annoyed and tried to blame me that he couldn't get a vein, telling me I'm probably dehydrated and that's why the needle didn't go into a vein. I was annoyed with this and I did not give plasma but told him to take the needle out. No apology was made to me and when I left, I asked the women at the front desk who the regional manager was and how to contact this person and they wouldn't provide this to me, and although the manager came over and knew I asked for this, he only said her name was "Cindy" and he also wouldn't give me a way to contact this person. When I asked where their corporate headquarters was, they wouldn't provide this to me. So, I researched this on the internet and I sent an email to their director, Helen Nasser, at [email protected] but she wouldn't respond back to me. And I sent an email to an email on their website at : [email protected] but whoever received this, also refused to respond back. So, I made a complaint with the BBB -- and in Kedplasma's response back, they lied and kept lying regarding the situation and the facts -- clearly to try to make themselves look good to the BBB. Kedplasma management said to the BBB that they apologized to me for this situation, but they did not; they said that I was complaining before this situation happened, although I was not (not even talking); and they said that they offered me the regional manager's phone no. and email but that I wouldn't take it. These were all lies, as I'm know Kedplasma management at the center knows but they told the BBB this anyway. It's obvious that they lack in integrity, do not respect donors, do not have donor's best interest in mind and will not take any responsibility of they do something wrong, inappropriate or that is harmful to a donor. I am aware that I was not the only donor who they caused a bruise to from how roughly they handle people. I would urge donors if they have a problem with Kedplasma to contact the Better Business Bureau and make a complaint or a review or to contact the Food and Drug Administration at: [email protected].
