Kate's Closet

So for the past 2 years I have been trying to check this place out. I live in the area and drive by this place every day, but not once have I seen that it was open. FINALLY today I saw that it was open so of course I slammed on my brakes, turned my car around, and went inside. I was already running late for my dinner date, but there is no way I wasn't going to stop and check this place out since apparently they only open once every 2 years. Anyways, it is like a consignment boutique except they only SELL clothes, they won't actually BUY your clothes from you like most consignment stores. Basically Kate, the owner has a lot of women in her family and they are all shopping divas. They buy clothes like crazy, wear them a few times and then Kate sells them in her boutique. There are a lot of great brands, and since some of Kate's family members live out of state, you can find brands here that you wouldn't find in Omaha. Everything seemed to be very gently worn and the prices were very reasonable. Kate told me that she open's the shop from 4-6 whenever she feels like it, which apparently is hardly ever. But I'm willing to bet that if you gave her a call, she would open the place up for you.
