Karma Yoga is the 3rd studio I tried taking classes at, and I'm so glad did. Yoga has been a life changing experience for me, both mentally and physically. If you have back issues you seriously need to start your Yoga journey and this place is where to start. Lisa the owner is an amazing teacher and such a kind soul. All of the instructors have been fantastic and care deeply about what they do. Karma offers a variety of classes, both heated and air conditioned. In the past year I've tried just about every type of class they offer and I've found what works for me. From relaxing and meditative, to high intensity, they have a class for you. They have 2 class studios. The larger room is mostly used for heated classes. It's a large space with 2 mirrored walls which is great for self corrections and being able to see the instructor no matter where you are in the room. I've never felt cramped in the large room, it's so big!! The 2nd room is much smaller and is air conditioned. This room can get a bit crowded at times but usually it's plenty of space. They have yoga mats you can use if you need, plus all the props you could possibly want or need during your practice. They also sell some really nice yoga mats and athletic clothes in the main entrance area. The only thing I would change if I could is I wish the men's shower/locker room was a bit less cramped. Not much they can do about this though due to the location. Really only 3 people can be in the men's room at a time due to the size of the space. There are 2 showers and some small cubicles for storing your bag and one chair. I cannot comment on the woman room area, but I believe it's a bit larger. Bottom line: If you are looking for a place to try yoga or a seasoned "Yogie" give this place a try!

I've been coming to karma yoga for a few months now, and I have to tell you it's a great yoga studio. There are a variety of classes, teachers, styles, and members. You're sure to find the right class and fit for you, whether you're a beginner or a seasoned yogi. The studio is in a great location, right off dodge at 156th street. The interior is warm and inviting with wood floors, tasteful decorations, and welcoming smiles from the owners and teachers. There are two rooms: a hot room for bikram and a regular room for the others classes. They also have a bathroom with showers and plenty of amenities (dove body wash, chi hair products, and a variety of lotions and beauty products). If you're interested in taking some classes, I definitely recommend checking out their website. There is a schedule of all the classes along with a description of each one. You can also read the teachers' bios. Payment is incredibly easy as well, as you can purchase unlimited months, single classes, or 10 class passes. You make a reservation in a class at you're leisure, then just sign in when you arrive. The classes themselves range from 60-90 minutes and are varied in level and style. I've really enjoyed the all levels slow flow, hyp flow, yin yoga, restorative, and kundalini. The studio encourages you to bring your own mat, but they provide blankets, blocks, straps, bolsters, sand bags, basically everything you could need for any class. The teachers all have their own style as you'd expect, but I have yet to meet one that wasn't kind, helpful, knowledgable, and accommodating. Some have been practicing for a few years, and others for longer than I've been alive. It's neat to be able to learn from each of them. I highly recommend this studio!

I finally ventured to this yoga place today as I have been wanting to try here for a while. To try it out, I purchased their two weeks for $20. Not bad considering if I didn't like it, I only spent $20! (One class I believe is $13 or so). I was able to register for class online. On their website, they list all of the classes that are available and you are able to register for all of them online. Their classes range from 5:45 in the morning until 6:15 in the evening. There are many options for everyone. They also offer many different types of classes and when I went this morning, there were two going on at the same time. So, you have options, which is a plus! When you first walk in here, it is nice and spacious. You can see where you can put your shoes otherwise, there is a bathroom with cubbies where you can also put your things. They have yoga stuff on one of the walls that you can purchase. It is very clean and really, it's a calming atmosphere. The ladies that checked me in are super nice too. They made me feel really welcome even though I haven't done yoga in probably 2 years. The hot yoga class that I signed up for is pretty similar to others I have tried. The people in the class with me varied in skill and ability, which was nice. I didn't feel so bad. The instructor was also very helpful and made it possible for us to get what we needed out of the class.Another positive about Karma Yoga is that the hot yoga room, when you first walk in, smells like lavender! It took me by surprise since many hot yoga rooms do not smell particularly good at all! Right away, you are put into a calm mood.In all, I really loved my experience today and I honestly feel that I will extend my membership to longer than two weeks once my two weeks are up!

Great variety of classes, very large hot yoga room and a convenient location right off of Dodge.Karma Yoga is a great new studio that opened up in February, and is owned and run by Lisa Kanne. So far I have tried out Hot Yoga, Basic Vinyasa Flow, Yin Yoga and Restorative Yoga classes, and I have enjoyed both the hot room, and the non-heated room. The teachers have been very passionate and knowledgeable about yoga, and the entire studio has a spa-like aesthetic, with lots of wood.Overall a great yoga studio.

Hey Yogis! I was in Omaha from California for a business conference and stumbled into Karma Yoga for their hot 26! I took one class from Lisa And one from Kathie. They were both fabulous instructors. Their focus is form so you can get the most out of your practice. Making sure that each pose is correct. I had a knee replacement four months ago, Yoga it is great for my recovery. I have been to several yoga studios in Sacramento and Karma Yoga is the best studio yet. Love this place

Karma yoga is a clean, judgement-free, super fun place to do yoga. There are two rooms, a big heated room for hot yoga and a smaller room. Both are fully stocked with all the yoga essentials you'd ever need. Then there are also really nice showers in case you have to go to work after a class. The teachers are so knowledgable and everyone is really friendly. It's a judgement-free zone. The people that practice are anywhere from beginners to full on YOGIs. My personal favorite is the restorative yoga on Friday after work. It's a great way to unwind after a long week.

Best Yoga studio in the Omaha area. All instructors are so knowledgeable and take the time in each class to make sure you are executing each of the poses correctly and getting the most benefit out of each class. All classes welcome new and experienced yogis, and all of the instructors are extremely patient with new/less experienced yoga guests. Absolutely IN LOVE with Karma Yoga.If you have never experienced Yoga practice or if you have not experience Karma Yoga, you can get 2 weeks for $20 (unlimited classes). So amazing being able to try all of the classes. And the owner Lisa is the most friendly, positive person in the world, you will just love her and the entire staff at Karma Yoga.

A beautiful place to learn so many different yoga practices. I was originally very nervous, because I have never done yoga at an actual yoga studio before....just classes at the gym before...and I didn't know what to expect nor if I would be able to keep up. In my first Hot class, I tooted as Lisa helped adjust my pose and she just giggled and said that was supposed to happen. And she and all the other teachers continue to solidify what a safe and loving place Karma Yoga is for everyone. I'm grateful I had the courage to try something so new. Lisa, thank you for always calling out the gold in each one of us! Namaste!
