no matter who owns this it will always be kiamans to me and to all who value great service the kiaman guys created a warm loving safe place to be where everyone could be happy to shop (though the music was a bit oldies ) it was and is a still a great place even though a cold corporation ones it and cares for no one we miss u harold and jerry

Yes, when the 'brothers' owned the store, it was a pleasant place to shop! Now, with these new owners, the management stinks! Poor, customer service! A month or so ago, one of the night managers "voided" my transaction...I asked him "Are you sure that those funds won't be taken out of my account?"..He replied "Nope I voided it"...Sure enough, the next day, the funds were taken from my account, AND I DIDN'T RECEIVE ANY PRODUCTS!!!..I called several times, she said bring down your bank statement, (which I did)...AND SHE STILL WOULDN'T REFUND MY MONEY!!!...FINALLY the night manager, who 'voided' the transaction, PAID ME OUT OF HIS OWN MONEY!!!...This would not have happened under the 'brothers' watch!!

when this was Kaimans it was a booming business ran by 2 brothers who cared deeply for their business, employees and community. After being bought by No Frills it has a management that could care less if their employees are happy or if anyone shops there or not. You couldn't pry a "HI" out of management if you ran them over w/ their own shopping carts. The employees try their best to make the best of it and interact w/ the customers because most of them live in the community. But the management leaves a LOT to be desired. OH, and don't try to buy things that they don't regularly stock AFTER a sale....it won't happen. They won't have it. Most all the employees quit after No Frills took over if that's any hint of the difference in management.

We have frequented this store many times and are never disappointed! Today is Independence Day and they were open, courteous, and opened up a register for us so no waiting! They have a huge variety of brands for a small town store! Meat department has a butcher. Very helpful staff!!! My mother who lives in a town of 6k raved about this grocery when visiting Glenwood!
