Just Good Meat

They are so amazing!! The workers are very insightful and knowledgeable when it comes to choosing what type of meat you're needing. We get all sorts of different things from them, recently it was their salmon and it was AMAZING!! Our usuals are steaks and fillets, we come here once a month and get our meat for the month to stock the freezer. The location is hard to park in at times but the quality and service is worth it, it's clean inside and I don't feel overwhelmed when speaking to the workers about what I need.

This is a fantastic, local butcher shop in Omaha. Although it was busy during the holidays when I stopped in, everyone was kind and friendly and ensured I found what I needed. Despite being picked over already, the selection was still very impressive. I'm already planning my next trip back!

First and last time customer. Awful communication and customer service. Ordered a bundle online on November 14th, said it would take 5-7 days on the website. Went in on the 5 day mark and was told I'd receive a phone call when it was ready, 13 days later and still no phone call and the website status was stuck on "Processing". Called on the 27th and they gave me the run around and said they'd call me by Friday the 29th, and received no phone call. On Saturday the 30th I sent an email saying I'd dispute the fraudulent charges with my credit card company and that I just wanted a refund. Sunday Dec 1st they magically prepared the order in a couple hours, despite me telling them via email I didn't want it anymore. I called them back and they gave me some sob story about the holidays. No thanks, I just want my money back. I did get a refund, but a little communication would have gone a long way. I wanted the meat BEFORE Thanksgiving, if that wasn't going to be possible that should have been communicated. It never should have taken 17 days to get around to making an order, what a waste of time.

Heard about this place and we like elk meat so we thought we'd check them out since their website said they had some. It's not as large as I thought but they had a lot of variety crammed in everywhere. Definitely have to wear a mask to enter. Parking available out front which was nice. There is a little section of gift items and items on sale. Freezers have pork, elk, Buffalo, chicken, lamb, goat, grass fed beef, seafood of all kinds and jerky. There's sauces and sausages, deli meat, beef sticks and smoked meats. It was amazing to see how many different ways meat can be packaged. We picked out the ground elk we wanted and sadly no seafood since we didn't have room to take it home to Colorado. Maybe next time.

Staff is always super friendly. Product is always great. The pea & cheese salad is SO GOOD!

Lots to choose from, family owned and delicious food especially the baked beans. They are so yummy.

A great little meat market!! I had lots of help while debating on what wild meat to choose for a chili contest at our local fair. They are so friendly and are quick to serve you and I love the chatter and banter amongst the butchers and customers. It's easy to drive up to and has a great market ambiance.

Friendly helpful honest butchers. You can get just about any type of meat here, but beef is the name of the game here. I got a bone-in ribeye. I also got some of the house-made sausages. They were as good as they proclaimed. Fantastic bite. No gristle and it tasted like meat versus fillers. The bacon and cheese brats were juicy without feeling fatty. I also got a cold antipasti platter. if I were in town longer, I would become a regular and get some of their family pack assorted meats.

Good selection and prices. I got two NY strips, two ribeyes, pineapple sausage, a couple frozen enchiladas and some breakfast sausage. Steaks were fantastic, enchiladas were ok, and making the sausage this weekend!

Meat was ok but the kid wrapped steaks that were not the ones we selected. The steaks went From thick on one side to thin on the other resulting in the steak not being cooked evenly
