Jonesy's Taco House

Nervous to go with a 3.5 on Yelp, but dang, not sure why, their ratings should be much higher. The place, food, and service was FANTASTIC! Plenty of parking out front of the restaurant complimentary, plenty of seating when we first walked in around 5pm and by the time we left at 6pm every table was full along with the bar and the entire time they had multiple take out orders! My husband loved his margarita and ordered a 2nd. We loved our chip trio, guacamole, salsa, and queso, and you had a choice of flour, corn or mix chips, we chose flour. Chips are also unlimited!! Prices were right on point, $5 margarita $13 for the chip trio, so cheap these days! The single beef tacos $4 were HUGE took over the entire basket, definitely not a street taco size lol. We will definitely be back soon!

Went here for our monthly date night and we loved everything about this place! The outside looks very authentic. The prices of their items are out of this world. Hardly anything on their menu (including drinks) is over $10. I got a lime margarita and it was very well crafted and came out very quickly. For food, we got the three dip combo that came with salsa, guac, and queso and the queso was incredible. They have two different options of chips or you can combine them together. For my entree I got the Big Juan which was a massive burrito which I loved but preferred if it came with queso on it because it was so good! Will definitely be coming back!

This place has a little bit of everything and it's pretty average. The taco salad had so much meat on it I actually wanted more toppings! The service is great and the price is just right!

Jones has the Best Food and alcohol beverages in Council Bluffs Iowa. Their employees are super nice and helpful and pleasant to talk to.

Great tex-mex food. I have been here a few other times and wasnt super impressed. This time was a much better experience! The Chili con carne was SPICY!!! Thank you for being open during the great blizzard of 24 lol!

One of the few places that was open during the snow and cold the other day. We had wonderful food and great service while having lunch here. It was all prepared very well and did not disappoint. While the place was pretty much empty, the waitress did not stop making sure her whole restaurant looked great and ready for a full dining room while taking care of our orders and making sure to check in on us throughout our meal. We will definitely return here! The prices for the meals and drinks were not inflated. Surely priced so families can enjoy a meal here without breaking g the bank as well.

My parents and I came here last Saturday for lunch and it was pretty good.We found a table, sat down, and gave our drink orders. After getting us the drinks, we ordered the food. We split the breaded mushrooms as an app and I ordered the 'Everything Burger'.The food came out in a pretty good time. The waitress said that I didn't receive a lot of fries because they needed to make more, and she would bring out more in a little bit......but she never did. I also didn't ask for them but still, don't send out food unless the order is complete.The burger was pretty tasty and really good deal for the money.I may come back to get another really tasty, cheap burger.

Ordered the enchilada to share with my husband bc we knew it was big. It was good but barely warm, disappointing. If it was hot it would of been awesome. We ordered the queso and with the bottle of salsa that is on the table we put some of that in the cheese. It was hot and good. The chips were good but cold. We needed more chips and waited about ten minutes to get them, so our cheese was cold by then. They are under staffed. The waitresses were friendly just didn't have time for us. Overall worth $16, we drank water. I just wish the food would of been hot.

The food had literally no taste. Even after smothering it in hot sauce it was very underwhelming. If you look in the kitchen it's just basically cans of everything being opened. The local old guys sitting at the bar , loud and one guy was saying the F word in every sentence. Not once did the waitress come back after the food was delivered.

Food and service excellent! Great tacos. Love the bean dip. Enchilada sauce is the best.
