Excellent small business in Cass county. We have used johns for A.C. and furnace repair and services. Also for installation of a heater in our shop. The have repaired and installed washer dryer freezer refrigerator garbage disposal in rentals and residence. The are quick and courteous. We have found if we discuss our needs for appliances that we can get a comparable price and unit as compared to a larger store and keep money where we live. I recommend and use John's.

This local business is the best to say the least, we were having issues with our new dishwasher. It wasn't draining so we were advised to contact John, who is a fabulous Repair man, who is courteous, prompt and honest. The brand of dishwasher though I wasn't thrilled with so I decided to buy a different brand and contacted them to do an install of it. I will be selling the other new one but I will always use John for any and all appliance problems in the future so long as I reside in Nebraska. His prices are reasonable based on my knowledge of the services he offers from working with my dad in the past. He even updated the water system for the newest dishwasher in my home. That including the install costs just below $200 which is comparable to what my dad would charge. Though I will say that his new secretary is less than desirable with her lack of knowledge of products and is unorganized but the business overall gets an A++++.

I do not recommend John's appliance after two dealings, and both were poor. One was with my elderly father, and the other was with me. I decided to try again after the first incident because I hoped the second round would be better, but it wasn't. I find their charging sales tax on labor unethical, which I called the state for, and I find added fees on a ridiculous service fee dishonest. Considering I live three blocks away, to be charged $95.00, I think it was, to show up, very poor ethics when they fixed nothing. When I asked about a second appliance, they wanted to charge me almost double for it and a second "service fee." Really? In a small town, your customer base is limited; I don't know how they are still in business. IMO, they need to be replaced by someone who helps the community, not exploits it, especially the seniors and the single women.

I highly recommend that "no one" calls John's Appliance, though I have never met John. My ice maker was not working, I happened to see John's truck across the street and asked if the repairman would check my ice maker as it was not working. Crossing the street will be $100. I said OK. David advised just a loose wire and I said "not". David advised wait a few days and the ice maker will start as I put the loose wire together. That was 8/7 and days later, no ice. I called again and the gal answering was not happy. Took David until 8/20 to return and he advised water value problem - another $170 - of course, ice maker not working. Called and advised not working and still waiting for call back. Another repair service I called, came in one day, asked serial number of refrigerator to insure he had the parts and guaranteed ice maker would be working before he left. That repair service also charged $100 but money was applied to the price of the part.Save money and time by staying away from John's Appliance!

I think John's Appliances is great. So the basic house call is 90 dollars whether they do a little fix or a big one. That's just standard. Running water through clogged line would be a cheap at any price lifesaver in my book. I just had a plumber do my kitchen lines and was so grateful clogged lines was the problem. John's has alway ,been fair and helpful. They are very dependable.

Called John's to repair a Kenmore Washing machine. The technician came hour late of his appointment, complained about the litter box in the laundry room which my wife removed and continue to complain the smell is too strong and just left. I called John's to talk to him, the only thing he said was that it's his only technician and if i want fix, I would bring it in. I did not get any apologies from the technician or the manager nor did they recommend someone else. It was they way or highway
