Johnny Sortino's Pizza Parlor

This place is surprisingly large- old school interior with plenty of seating with sports on various TVs. Friendly counter service. Pizza was served quickly and was both tasty and topped with a lot of toppings. Definitely someplace we will visit again.

Johnny's is always a great choice. They use to be the place to go watch a Nebraska game or just meet up for a slice. The new hours don't really let you do now, but still have really good food. Bit greasy but very good!

The food is has not changed over all the years. The onion rings and pizza are amazing. They both have a mama pizza style if you want to know who it compares to. There is a game room for kids. The prices are very reasonable except no refills on soda which I was a little surprised.The only downfall about this place is the amount of kids and birthday parties they pack into the dining room. It's a pizza place, so I get it. It's the parents fault not the restaurant, but the amount of little kids running around non stop was crazy.Overall great pizza and onion rings. A pizza staple in Omaha.

Mostoccioli and meatballs always spectacular.Also large mushroom pizza, delicious and hot.Don't wait get yourself and family to Sortino's.I will be back really soon!

Usually I like Johnny Sortino's, but as of recent they have been skimping on how much meat they put on their pizzas whether it's the hamburger ones or the pepperoni ones. I also don't like how they have been putting the pepperoni under the cheese recently. The pepperoni can't cook/crisp properly when it's under the cheese, and the cheese ends up masking the taste of the pepperoni. A lot of restaurants also do this to hide the fact that there's very little pepperonis on the pizza. They never used to do this before from what I remember. I have always came back because this place is usually known for having a lot of meat on their pizzas. The pizza still tastes okay so I'll still leave 3 stars, but it would taste even better if they didn't skimp. Hopefully they can get their act together in the near future, or get a new cook.

Honestly didn't even know this place was still in business just because of the odd placement of it and different hours since Covid and whatnot but my husband sent me to pickup a pizza from here and it was your typical older pizza joint. The pizza was average priced, done quickly, and tasted very good. We ordered a sausage pizza and even my husband who is from Chicago commented on the sausage that they use and how tasty it was. We don't get pizza often but I'm thankful this place isn't too far from our house !

We had our Retirees lunch today at Sortinos. We all worked in customer service and while the food was great, we all commented on the woman who took our orders. She lacked personality and a smile would have been appreciated.

Pizza was good but the counter person taking our order was not friendly, then they called out our # for the cheese garlic bread we ordered, making my husband wait before asking him why he was standing there, then telling him they didn't call our #. When they called it (for the 2nd time) my hubby went to the counter to get it, he was told they already gave it to him! So they must have given our bread to someone else while they made him stand there the 1st time. We ordered a pitcher of coke since they don't give free refills, we only got 2 1/2 small cups out of it since the pitcher was filled to the top with ice.

Maybe I'm a bit nostalgic but Sortino's is my favorite pizza in Omaha. I love the "Hockey Player " pizza. If you eat in, the onion rings are great. They loose something when you order take out. Wings are basic but good. I want to try the spaghetti and meatballs but it's too hard to pass on the pizza

Been going here for over 30 years. An absolute staple for generations. They drastically cut their hours during Covid and kept them there. What was the place to go following any sporting event is gone. The food is very good. It's 4-5 star food! I say 3 stars due to the extremely limited hours and loss of a great option for families dining out.
