We returned to Jerico's during the summer and once again came away truly enjoying our experience. The atmosphere is very slow and relaxed, most of the chairs are deep and comfortable. The food, we both had steaks as always was above average.Yes, it is pricy, but the intent is to cook and serve above average food in an 'upscale' setting. We would continue to recommend a meal here.BUT! Don't go in a hurry or mad at something. You will lose the purpose of being there.

This place checked all my boxes for a supper club experience which I needed. I'm more familiar with MN and WI supper clubs that I believe set a standard.A few months ago my adult daughter and I over heard some others at a Omaha restaurant talking about a good place in town to get Escargot- so months later- here we are pulling up to Jericos and it looks some what questionable...but isn't that usually your favorite spot as it turns out?We had a strange welcome when we walked in pretty early at about 4:30 and were asked if we had a reservation and we replied "no" and looked around and saw maybe one or two tables with people at them and we asked if we could maybe sit at the bar and the waitress/hostess said...well if you are planning on eating we would prefer if you sit at a table.. hummm. We chose to sit at the bar and relax and enjoy a drink and then asked if we could order food and the bartender said "of course"... then he had the waitress come from behind us and take our order and serve us which was just fine.A couple of people came to the bar to order take out of the prime rib chili- I wish we would have taken some home with us but we were in a hotel for the night and were not thinking about take out. Heard it is fantastic.Décor is supper club classic- please don't change it.You could turn up the music a tad- thank you for turning on the tv for us.. we did appreciate being able to view an awards program without the sound. "Ok "by us.Escargot in the shells super great, prime rib, salads, stuffed baked potatoes and a brandy alexander. Yes, Yes, Yes!!! Thank you very much!I really liked the quite atmosphere and would like to return with my elderly Mom and her friend.

Jerico's is a delicious old-timey super club. Don't be scared of the abrasive service from the host, persist!! She tried to sit us in the most awkward spot in the back of the restaurant but we asked to sit at the bar, for ambiance and because there were maybe only 2 other parties at the whole. They told us we couldn't order food at the bar, but we weren't really sure why. This place seems much more popular for takeout, as that was the majority of what we saw go on. We finally did get the go-ahead to order at the bar, from the amazing bartender. The prime rib was fantastic, as were the baked potato and the escargot. They also have an extensive menu of after-dinner drinks, which I wish was highlighted more, because I think this could be a major pull for customers. They have a soft serve machine behind the bar just for this!?! Super cool and unique. We overheard everyone that got takeout got the prime rib chili -- and we asked a few people about it and they could not say enough good things. We really wanted to try it but forgot to get it to go before we left. The attitude of the host/server ruined part of our experience as she seemed wildly entitled and bossy, but the bartender saved the day!

A buddy from work recommended Jerico's for dinner and when I say recommend, I mean he said, "Jerico's is where you are going for dinner."A true hidden gem, do not let the adjacent freeway and strip mall setting deceive. I repeat, do not let the exterior setting turn you down. The sign on the door reads, "Gentlemen, kindly remove your hats for dinner." I still walked in wearing a Hoodie and sweats, having just flown in from CA.Okay okay. You're here for the food. So I'll tell you.The dinner roll was basically a delicious sweet cloud with a soft yet crispy exterior. Spread that butter, which amazingly did not come out frozen solid, and go to town. The prime rib chili, stupid good. Meaty, full of beans and tomatoes. Hearty and warmth are here in abundance. The garlic mashed potatoes, woah! No further description needed. The steak. Oh that steak. I'm sitting here stuffed full, still wishing I'd ordered a bigger ribeye. Medium rare, basically melted in my mouth. Almost untouched except a sprinkling of salt to bring all that natural beefy goodness to the top. This is my new favorite place in Omaha. Expect to see me here at least once during every trip to this city.

I made reservations on Jan 07 for Feb14. I asked for a booth when we got there on the 14 they said they had no booths do to everyone wanting one thus was at 4:30 pm. They sat us in front of the kitchen. I could see the food and they were washing dishes with the food sitting under the heat lap. I couldn't even eat I had to take all my food home.it was very very disappointing.

Had reservation for Dec 17. Seated promptly. Drink order was fine. Downhill after that. Food service very slow, almost 60 minutes from order to service. Of the six of us there three plates were returned as unsatisfactory, either cold or burnt and over done. No contact from manager to discuss problem. A sad unsatisfactory experience.

The service has always been top notch, and the prime rib is flavorful and tender. In most cases, you will want to have a reservation.
