Javi's Tacos On the Go 1

Javi's Taco food truck was at the Wheelchair Softball World Series for one day, and all I can say is I wish they were there all 3 days! My hubs and I are vegan, and expected limited options but we were so impressed by the rice bowls (that were huge! We had so much left over it was also our dinner!). The rice was flavorful, the beans were so rich and tasty, topped with corn salsa, radishes, lettuce, and a verde and hot sauce, it was crazy good!

Yes lol I meant chicken quesadillas. Sorry ! Thanks for clarifying. We have had consistently good food here way better than most counter service foods.

The burritos are the size of a newborn child. It's huge I recommend sharing! It's more than enough! Birria tacos are hard to come by for some reason in the midwest! But I'm LA THEYRE a big deal! So when I found out they had Birria it met all my expectations; so filling, the dipping sauce was amazing the portions are fantastic the rice was seasoned very well wish we had a little more of that.

Tried out the Javi's food truck for the first time this week and it was tasty! Packed with lots of flavor and everything was super fresh and speedy.

Javi's is my new pregnancy craving and I am definitely not sad about it. I'm obsessed with their chicken burritos and housemade quac, but the various family members I've dragged with me have had the shrimp burrito and beef nachos and loved both too. Talk about quality ingredients...they have a huge selection and it's all made in house and to order. They have 6-10 salsas/sauces from regular chunky salsa for chips to creamy habanero that'll bite your butt, as my husband likes to say. The queso is so so good, lots of flavor & definitely not bland like so many you find these days. I recommend getting it in your burrito/tacos/nachos/etc. Pepsi products for foundation sodas, etc. Meredith is the Javi's queen and I love that she knows mine & my husbands order when we come in. My husband and I went for cinco de mayo knowing it would be busy. The line was to the door when we walked in and it was obvious they were slammed so we expected to wait. A man in line thought it was appropriate to yell at them when they had to temporarily pause orders to catch up and they handled it really well! Do not yell at food service workers when you are choosing to dine in a restaurant you know will be busy on this holiday, they are people just like you!!! Food was amazing as always despite the challenges, support local next time you want a great Mexican option west!

The food is great but the staff is completely unorganized. I ordered one taco and it took 25 minutes to get. The guy that took my order left the counter and started cleaning tables and there were three or four people in the back that seem to not know what they were supposed to be doing. Food is great but definitely not fast.

The food is delicious, the seating would allow for a large party, but the real star of the show is the service. Everything was clean, everyone was friendly, and everyone went above and beyond for us.

They came to my work for a lunch and everything was top notch. Churro is my new #1. Cannot believe a taco truck makes such good Birria! Bravo!

Just got so tacos from food truck down in Aksarben. And it was delicious. Lots of flavor and some of the only rice I like. The guy was super nice and gave great advice on what to get. Over all just worth it.
