My husband and I chose Janine McClintock studios to be our wedding photographer vendor in 2012. She came highly recommended to me from a small wedding boutique in Omaha, NE. I was new to the area at the time therefore I relied heavily on recommendations and word of mouth while planning our wedding. Our first meeting with Janine went very well and we both walked away excited about having her as our wedding photographer. After our first meeting, it seemed to be very difficult to connect with her and really engage with her. She was extremely slow to respond to voicemails, sometimes it would take up to a week to hear back from her. We had to reach out several different times to receive our engagement photos from her. Our engagement photos were ok at best, during our sessions she wasn't great at engaging with us to try new things or have props for our photos therefore our pictures were very high school prom like. She took pictures at angles that just weren't very flattering; to me this seemed liked photography 101. On our wedding day, she arrived on time but seemed very aloof. It was brought to my attention that my bridesmaids had asked her to take pictures while we were getting ready and she simply stated "no" this was extremely frustrating as she was just standing in the background doing nothing for several hours. I felt our wedding photos were very amateurish. All of the pictures turned out to be exactly the same; no creativity came out of her work and very little editing was done to our photos. I'm not an expert at photography but when you receive photos from the average person taking photos that turned out better it's a problem. All in all, we were very disappointed in the quality and lack of customer service with Janine McClintock Studios. I do not recommend!!!!
