This bookstore is so large and so packed with books...it's almost unbelievable. Can be overwhelming, but if you are looking for something, the staff are happy to help you. These are used books, prices are penciled inside. The books are reasonably priced, obviously some of the books will be higher priced for reasons.Reading books can transport you to another place, but even just being in this bookstore is like being transported.

One of the highlights of my trip to Omaha. This is a large bookstore with used books. We spent over an hour here looking at books for sale. Great selection! We found some real gems in there!

I can't tell you how many times I've lost track of time in this place. I always go in with no direct intention of buying but how this place is set up and all the smells of old books, how can you not grab another book?? It does get quite warm in the summers due to limited air flow but always an adventure!!!

We passed by this store and decided to walk in. This place is definitely an old bookstore. It looks a little creepy but it's not. There is so many books in here. The crazy part was everything was extremely organized. There are old but and a lot of new books as well. The prices are okay but I love supporting book stores. The lady who worked there was a little odd but she is super smart. Definitely check this bookstore out if you're in the area.

I love this bookstore, been in several times in the past. This is the store for you if you're looking for hard to find, vintage, first editions, or even newer books. Sure, you can go to other stores or websites, but can you also support a local bookseller while doing that? Here you can, and it's so worth it. The entire store is filled to the brim with anything you could possibly want! We loved finding old, first editions, and treasures we didn't even know we were looking for. Every time I come in, I find something special to return home with. Spend minutes or hours, you have time and potential for both!

Fair warning this place is huge and the shelves just keep going so if you get overwhelmed easily, you will in this store. That being said they have the books sorted by genre and they are willing to help you find the sections. I will admit it was hard to find my way around without a map. I ended up getting two books that I can't wait to read. The book jackets also have a plastic covering that helps protect them from damage.

Yes Virginia, there is a heaven, and it's located at 1119 Jackson Street in Omaha Nebraska. This is the book store you've seen in a hundred romcoms but thought didn't really exist, or if it did exist, was in some far off hipster enclave you'd never actually be able to visit; maybe in Seattle or Brooklyn. Well I got news for you Virginia, this is the real deal and it's right here in Omaha. Fourteen thousand books in a wonderful old building with a friendly knowledgeable owner who doesn't need to check on a computer to tell you if she has the book you're looking for, she just knows.

Interesting store lots and lots of books. Prepare to spend time there, as it is cluttered and items aren't clearly organized.

This was perhaps the most overwhelming and awesome bookstore I've ever been in. Go there if seeing things like this blow your mind! And there are a couple of bookcases that have books that are several hundred years old!
