Added sausage to this one, made it a little greasy. Broth and pork belly were great though.

Benson Bomb, tricky to eat if you have a beard, but full of flavor and worth the mess.

Ika is my favorite ramen place in Lincoln! Without a doubt a must try. They have a wide variety of ramen and similar inspired dishes, even vegetarian options. Steam buns are phenomenal. Any occasion is the right occasion for Ika!

Great environment, good service. The tonkotsu was so bland that I had to reactivate my yelp. Flavorless broth, tough pork belly, and clumped noodles ... so disappointing. My wife's miso was pretty good, and the shredded pork was very tasty. But it wasn't a miso soup?Did they just forget all the ingredients for the tonkotsu?Next time I'll just have a bowl of cereal.

I've been to Ika San Ramen twice in the past several months. The first time i had lunch there with several friends. I had ordered the Blackstone Tonk and the Benson Bomb. The pork was nice and tender and the tonkotsu broth with the black garlic was really good. Last week I went there for a late lunch. I had ordered the Blackstone Tonk again. The attempt at crisping the porkbelly char siu just made it tough and chewy. Japanese char siu is not supposed to be crispy. The Onsen egg was overcooked and the broth had separated. It was a very disappointing experience. I hope this was an anomalous experience.

We have visited Ika San twice now. Our first experience was shortly after they opened 04/21/23 and they were definitely having some growing pains. Service was slow, disjointed and the (mostly young) employees seemed overwhelmed and confused. The food; however, was fantastic! We visited again on 05/04/23 and what a difference! From the moment we walked in we were greeted pleasantly, seated quickly and waited on both efficiently and pleasantly. The atmosphere is really fun! Music from the golden years of 1900's hip hop, anime on the TVs and very hip Japanese inspired decor. The food is so flavorful and unique! I'm excited to go back and try more options from the menu. I find myself thinking about these piping hot bowls of deliciousness when I should be working, or driving or sleeping. We will be back, quite often I'm guessing.

Food has really good flavor, especially the shredded pork steam buns. The ramen noodles were over cooked which would have be better if it wasn't so mushy.

Definitely some of the best ramen in Lincoln. They have such a cool set up with cool decor and a bar with anime typically playing on the tvs. It was not super busy when I went at first but then definitely picked up as it came closer to dinner time.

I tried the Blackstone Tonk ramen today. It was amazing. I also tried the Yazai Veggie Gyoza dumplings. I didn't care for them. I'm glad I tried them, but I won't order them again. I'm really falling in love with this restaurant despite its higher cost and distance from my home.

We tried this place last night. The shredded pork nap buns were very good. I enjoyed the Japanese anime on the screens. It is silent, but the had the captions on, which I thought were entertaining. We both chose ramen, mine was the Mary Jane. It was a lot, so I brought home 1/2 of mine. My husband, who has visited Japan twice agreed that it was pretty good. We will be going back.

Fun atmosphere with anime playing on the televisions. Services was great and our waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable about the food. We ordered the fried chicken steamed buns as an appetizer and they were delicious. The chicken was crunchy and juicy, and the spicy mayo was delicious. I got the Mary Jane and my daughter got the Skinny Jane ramen. The cilantro chicken broth was the best part for me.

Don't come. It is the first time I had ramen with fork cause they do not offer chopsticks. The food are also expensive and not authentic.
