I-80 Speedway

Nestled in between Omaha and Lincoln Nebraska sits I80 speedway. It hosts a number of national events for auto racing. This is a dirt track facility which hosts both Sprint cars, IMCA modified, Late Model as well as budget racers (hobby stock/compacts. Events are run all summer long. You need to check the website for exactly what is going on. Most events, general admission is $15, with special events going as high as $40. You can also purchase pit passes for an additional cost. Be aware this is in Nebraska where the summer months can be quite brutal. I find the spring and early fall is the best times to go. They have one concession stand, one gift shop and a beer station. I'm here at the end of August with 80 degrees and a low forecast of 70s. Perfect. The concession stand, the pork tenderloin is fantastic. I can't speak for the pizza or BBQ beef. A tenderloin, fries and a 20oz soda will rub you about $11. Cash only at the beer station and concession stand. They do have an ATM, but I have no idea of fees. If you enjoy dirt track racing and are nearby. This is a great place to go.

Going to be so sad when this track gets torn down. Great place for family fun! Will miss this! So much fun and excitement! Need places like this to hang out with family and friends! Thank you for all your years.
