First time in the salon...Tonya did an amazing job. She is very friendly and I will definitely be going back!

Walked in with long healthy hair, less than 48 hours later forced to get a pixie cut from my hair falling out in chunks. Hadn't had it colored in 7 months. Stylist, Tiffany, had me in her chair for 5 hours. I requested a balayage color and trim. When I got home I noticed a large chunk of hair missing in the front of head. I called the salon and let them know I was not happy and asked for a refund. I was later told by text my hair looked shiny and long when I left and it looked like a hot flat iron burned it off. They even sent me pictures of me on their salon video camera to try and prove it was fine when I left. They refused to give me refund and said they would give me a store credit to buy product to restore my hair. I had not touched my hair with product or tools after I left. I went to my normal stylist and she said it was over processed and falling off in chunks everywhere. The only way to fix it was to cut it all off.

Had my first appointment at Hype Salon with Tonya and I could not be more pleased. I have never walked out of a salon more happy than I did yesterday. I had my hair cut and styled and had highlights put in. Tonya did a fabulous job. I will definitely be back.

The owner Tonya is superb as are the other stylists and barbers. The do all the latest of everything. This is not Beyond Beauty that was at this address previously. Yelp consolidated the previous salon reviews with Hype Salon. I will be a repeat customer with my family! This was my first visit. Very happy. HYPE SALON!

I previously got my hair done here and was happy with it, besides the blonde. if you would've saw the color I came in with, the blonde part I wanted only needed the roots lightened and instead they lightened the blonde sections fully. first the blonde is yellow then they tone it to a gray, which I asked for neither, then when I came in to get it fixed I was made to feel like I was a waste off time even after spending $200. when I was getting it fixed one of the employees told me to wait 10 days and come back and she could get the blonde to what I wanted. I booked an appointment a week ago which I got a text they accepted the appointmen. mind you I live clear north so I have to drive clear across town, only to get here and walk in for them to tell me there's nothing more they can do for me..interesting since I know the blonde can be fixed..why would they accept the appointment then wait til I took the time to drive here just to refuse service..no longer recommend them to anyone, I spend a lot on my hair and I know alot about my hair to know when they messed up and they know it. I wish I could post before pics then after, you would see I'm not wrong. good luck if you do go here cause they were more expensive then anywhere I have ever been...

Tried a new salon today and omg they did amazing! Went in for a color correction on box dyed brown hair and we decided to do highlights to not damage the hair. Looks amazing! 100% would recommend and will definitely be coming back! The vibe here is amazing as well. The people are good people!

Thank you Tonya for always making me look pretty again and taking away my grays!! I always get compliments on my hair after I come to see you!

Chelsie is amazing! She knows hair! It was easy to book an appointment on line. The stylists are helpful and friendly and they sell the best products! Easy to find and easy parking. Would definitely recommend!!

Great cut,great price. Very good communication about what I was looking for. Would recommend in a heartbeat. Please consider this salon for your hair cutting needs. I was the only patron, protocols for Covid were in place so I felt safe. I'm attaching before and after photos so you can see the results of getting rid of my old perm. I was released to see my wave was still intact and I couldn't be happier with this summer haircut. She took out a lot and I trusted her to do so. The results were more than I imagined it would be!

Highly recommend. It was my first time coming in today and I am definitely coming back again. I explained to Tonya what I wanted and she knew exactly what I meant and cut it perfectly. Great haircut for a great price, you wont regret coming here. Love it!
