Hy-Vee Fast & Fresh

My southwestern burger was amazing. The chef grilled it perfectly well done and it was the best burger I ever had. It was so great. Thank you all so much for that experience. Yall are master chefs

This used to be a great Hy-Vee location, but the last year the service has been HORRIBLE! I've waited in line to checkout in excess of 20 minutes with employees wandering around doing little. On this visit they had 1 checkout lane for 10 minutes then they opened a second. They don't pay me to go through self check with vegetables and alcohol, so I refuse to. Other Hy-Vees can staff their store, but this one refuses to.

I love saving $$ on gas here using my fuel saver card.I don't go out my way to buy things I don't need or want at the store just to earn cents off but in the course of my regular shopping, I do manage to accumulate some. This location is convenient to get in and out of via either Saddle Creek or Center Street.

Of course I come here to use my Fuel Saver points. I switch off between fueling at Hy-Vee and Kwik Shop. I let the points build up at one store, then the other. I'm very methodical. The main attraction to this station, however, is the free air. It's a breath of fresh air (ha) since the gas station closest to me charges 75 cents for a machine that doesn't work half the time, and the gas station at Baker's charges $1. Not only is it free, but the machine is a lot nicer: you can actually calibrate it to the PSI that you need, and it will beep when it's finished. This machine is enough to improve my opinion of Hy-Vee as a whole. It's like the machine is saying, "Thank you for shopping with us, here is an idiot-proof machine dispensing free air because we love you."

Don't order aisles online unless you want your order to arrive an hour late. This store sucks.
