A touch of modern, whimsy, retro, vintage, and local sourcing- all in one shop. I dont believe I ever visited them in the Old Market, so this was the first time for me. I LOVE that they are dog friendly, and I could bring along my lil dood after visiting Three Dog Bakery down the street. The staff member working that day was friendly, obviously loved dogs, and was eager to answer any questions I had about the store or the items inside. They have plenty of furniture (mostly living room/dining room), home decor, and also "knick knacks" which I would categorize as things like stationary, cards, coffee table items, mason jar sippy cups etc. They also have a small catus/succulent/air plant station where you can purchase plants and make your own design piece ala carte. I thought that was really cute, and purchased a few plants to replaces some dying ones in my home.Overall, this store has a very urban, city, "ikea" feel, and I am totally digging it. I do think the price tags for the furniture would make some modest Omaha dwellers cringe, but those who love interior decor as I do will find this place as fascinating as a kid in a candy shop.

This store is so stylish and unique - I enjoy walking around and appreciating all of the locally made products. While the products are amazing, it has been really hard for me to purchase things here due to their relatively high price points. However, supporting local creatives definitely adds value to the pieces sold here. Also, if you park at the midtown parking garages, you can validate your parking ticket in this store!

Hutch recently outgrew their basement digs in a shared Old Market space to move to a more prominent Midtown Crossing location. Inside you'll find a fantastic collection of mid-century modern furniture -- hutches (naturally), credenzas, tables, chairs, couches, etc. -- along with other Mad Men-tastic home decor items fit for Don Draper's Manhattan pad like glassware, ashtrays, lamps and clocks. The inventory is ever rotating, so you're bound to see new items each time you visit. Plus, prices are reasonable and nothing they sell is junk.Hutch is without a doubt the best place to shop for 50s and 60s furniture and related goods in Omaha.

We're new to town and I went in to browse for our new house and to check out sectionals. Nick was so knowledgeable about his products, and to top it off when I asked him if there were any other places I should check out he made me a three-prong list of all his favorite shops and restaurants with notes. Just an incredibly kind thing to do. The store is gorgeous, with great merchandise. Fantastic collection of mid-century vintage pieces, as well as new modern furniture and accessories. Lovely handmade cards and local merchandise too. I'll certainly be back!

I thought this would be a sticker shock kind of furniture store, but it really wasn't. Very eclectic, pretty modern yet very retro. I found an end table that fit the bill between rustic and modern. The sales associate was very pleasant, friendly, helpful, and not pushy at all. I love, too, that I'm helping a local business by shopping here.

Fun mix of modern furniture and vintage goods, great music, helpful staff located in Midtown Crossing. Also, gourmet coffees, airplants and other stuff. What else do you need?

Where do I begin?! I frequent this store as much as possible, I absolutely love it! They have so many unique items, many of them from local makers such as The Object Enthusiast, Bench, and Artifact bags. I am absolutely obsessed with the terrariums because you can customize your own. Just recently I went into the store and they had the most adorable animal pillows which I am looking to buy my nephews and niece. The furniture is modern and gorgeous, I love the showroom floor which often changes with new additions. Not only is the store amazing, but the owners are very warm and welcoming and they have a really great eye for design. This is the place to go if you're looking for furniture, or anything for your home. I could go on and on. Just go and check it out ya'll. P.S. last time I was there they had campfire scented candles which is amazing, I shall return to buy them!

Great shop with lots of lovely goods from local and state side artisan products. People running it have a n obvious love of the Maker's genre.

Hutch feels like a store you might find in a larger city like New York or San Francisco. They offer both vintage furniture and newer designs that are inspired by vintage looks. Their new space over in Midtown Crossing is filled with housewares, furniture and artwork that all feels high end. Definitely worth scoping out.

Barf. It's like a nightmare from the 60's and 70's. Two of the most tasteless decades in history. A time that gave birth to so much of the false elegance of modernism.
