I brought in my car because it was shaking. As I was telling the guy I wasn't ready to make any financial commitments, he interrupted and shook his head "yeah yeah" as if he gets that all the time. He was nice and said he'd call me after they take a look at it. He did not say there would be a charge.He calls me back a couple hours later, says they looked at it and it would be $450 to replace 5 spark plugs and the fuel filter. I said that sounded high, so I would pickup the truck. He said, "OK then only $80 for the diagnostic". I said "You didn't say there would be a charge for diagnostics". We then got into an argument about the charge. I eventually picked up my truck without paying him anything.He did not say he was going to charge me to look at it, then tries to charge me $80 when I want to pick it up, then argues with me about it. On top of that, his quote was $100 more then the next place I took it too.This is a small / shady place that I thought I'd give a chance because I work within walking distance and I like supporting small local businesses. I told him this, then I also told it was a mistake for me to do that.Would not recommend, will never go back.

Great place to get your car repaired. They know what they're doing highly recommended! I have been coming here for years for everything from oil changes and tire leaks to valve jobs and suspension work. Prices are reasonable they accept extended warranties.

Tom is awesome. So helpful. Our daughter is attending university there from out of state. Is is so great to know there is a place she can go that we trust. Thank you Tom!!!

My daughter's car needed a big repair and Tom has been our go-to guy for several vehicles. Five stars for him, but minus one for the subcontractor--whose initial repair of the engine head resulted in a non-operable item, which meant delay as the part had to return for further work. Tom didn't charge me for his shop's labor in having to re-install that part. I think he's an honorable guy and I also appreciate how he explains the mechanical issues.
