Hurrdat Sports Bar & Grill

Food = 5 stars. Service = 3 stars. I don't know if it was Clamato or what but this Bloody Mary was undrinkable. Tasted like seafood in a bad way. BUT, other than that, the food was a hit. The chicken was tasty and crispy and the ranch was delicious. The side salad with blue cheese dressing had the perfect proportions and the house-made croutons were SO GOOD. My friend liked her pizza and once the fries came for my food, those were super solid. They're the crispy ones with almost a battered-like appearance. Now, the service was not great. Our waitress disappeared from our area for quite a while and missed our food coming out, brought by someone else. No plates for the Pizza and no fries with my chicken as seen in the pic. The guy who brought it didn't say anything and just put it down, and I assumed fries were coming right behind but no. About 10 minutes later I got up and went to the bar to ask for plates and fries. After that things were fine and they removed the bloody Mary's from our checks so that was very nice. I'll be back but hopefully the service is a bit more attentive.

The Good: The Sweet Heat pizza is DELICIOUS. I had 2 slices and was hoping to have a slice or 2 for leftovers for lunch tomorrow, but my 15 year old son demolished the rest of it when I got home. I generally wouldn't comment on a side salad but that was really good too - very fresh and with sliced tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots...The Bad: The Bloody Mary. If you've ever thought to yourself that you would like to drink a glass of cocktail sauce, their recipe might be for you, but otherwise, no. I love Bloody Mary's and I sent it back.The Meh: The service. The guy who delivered our food literally set it down and walked away without a word. No plate for my pizza. No accompanying french fries for my friend's chicken strips. After maybe 10 minutes we had to track someone down to bring them and by then they were no longer hot.Overall a good visit and I'll stop in again when I'm in the area. I just hope the not-great service was a fluke!

I was here recently for a live podcast event and it was incredible! The house was packed but the service was great. They gave ample time to order before and after the show. The custom cocktail menu was fun too! I ordered an espresso martini to start, it was a little to creamy for me but still had a great coffee flavor. I opted for a custom cocktail and the boom boom shrimp. Unlike another spot who does small fried shrimp Hurrdats is much larger shrimp. Still a shareable app, but I the whole thing myself. I really enjoyed the sauce to shrimp ratio as well as the little heat kick on the them.Overall the show was fantastic and the food and drink were great.

Good sports bar atmosphere with lots of drink options, burgers, sandwiches, pasta/salads, and wings. Seemed a bit understaffed but our server was great. Multiple TVs with one large screen over the bar.The nachos were great for a sports bar...large and packed with meat and condiments. The Cubano was pretty bad, didn't even finish it, and the fries were average. Also had a cocktail and it was very weak, but a good flavor.I'd come back here to watch a game and have a beer, but definitely not for the food.

I could see this being a fun bar to catch the game.Unfortunately I went during my lunch break for work. Plenty of TVs is there are multiple events to watch. Menu fairly traditional sports bar fare. I selected the Cubano, mainly because it is one of my favorite sandwiches so it would be a good gage. Based on the best I have ever had, my own, and this one I give it 3/5*. Onion rings were my side, they do batter them in house (I asked), it is a beer batter style, I would give these a 3.5/5* in terms of onion rings.Service was good, attentive, refills were timely. 5/5. All in all, I will definitely go back and would recommend.

My family and I visited Hurrdat Sports Bar a few months back ... I have been here for prior events and since it was renamed from Varsity. Whenever I come, I leave satisfied. It's always wonderful when you can find a place that is dependable and you can count on for great service, atmosphere, and food quality. Hurrdat has a large food menu and a huge selection of beer, wines and mixed drinks, and is a great place to enjoy food and beer while watching your favorite sport events only nearly a thousand TV's (probably less than 100, but there are a lot - you can see at least 10 TVs from most spots in the restaurant area)!My family and I went here for dinner, and I will include in my review the menu, bar menu, and a few items we ordered. I ordered the Benning Burger and my son ordered a burger with bacon, egg, and cheese. Both were juicy, full of flavor, and delicious. Both my son and I would order each of these items again. My wife ordered the buffalo chicken wrap and she was also pleased with the taste and portion of her meal. Both the fries and tater tots were crispy, hot, and reasonable salted. I have actually been back since and ordered carryout, and will continue to return because Hurrdat dependably provides tasty, reasonably priced, high-quality food.

I've been here about three times now. I've been waiting to review once I eat something good here but it always misses. Sweet corn nuggets with ranch are amazing but everything else I've ate just isn't as good as it looks. The nachos were so bad we had to send them back. We try something new every time.Service is spectacular Drinks are made good! They have outdoor live music, all around great atmosphere. Large area where you aren't packed in.Hope they update their products!

We play this made up dice game to decide where we should go out to and this bar was in our game. We stopped here on a Saturday afternoon. Small bar area. Nice high top tables about 8 or so to sit at also lots of low top tables. We just had beers. The food looked good. Service was friendly good selection of craft beers and seltzers. Looks like they may have a community room or something.

I've been to Hurrdat several times, and had a wonderful experience every time! The food always hits the spot for me, the drinks are great, and the ambiance is exactly what you want in a sports bar! I've come for a quick lunch, to watch an Omaha Supernovas game, and for special events. The service is always excellent, and it's become my go to when I want to go to a sports bar.

A group 7 of us had dinner here last night. I ordered the crispy sweet corn nuggets and the short rib dip with sweet potato fries. The corn nuggets were served with hot honey and absolutely delicious. I would eat those as a side to a main dish instead of fries. The short rib meat, cheese and au jus were all fantastic and full of flavor, but the bun it was served on was too soft to hold up to the meat and au jus. The fries were standard and lukewarm so I wouldn't get those again.
