People keep saying "support local", but, in this case, local could have been catastrophic.My rear driver wheel well on my 2016 Jeep Wangler was making a loud grinding noise, so I took it into this place to check it out. After a "thorough inspection", they said my brakes were good and it was probably just some rust that was starting to show on the rotars... and that my brakes were essentially like brand new.Three days later, I was driving home with my kids in the vehicle and I lost nearly all stopping power in my vehicle. In short... the rear brakes completely failed.I brought my vehicle to a national company in Papillion and sure enough... the rear brake calipers on the wheels had a catastrophic failure, which then caused the brake pads to be ejected.I get that people miss things and sometimes things are misdiagnosed... but come on??? This was a huge miss that put me and my kids in a very dangerous situation.Support local... ok. But not if they are yahoos like this place. Luckily no one got hurt.If you're looking for a reputable, professional company... go to Brakes Plus in Papillion. They may be a little more expensive... but they won't send you down the road in a ticking time bomb.

I love this place, they treat you right. I brought my truck after the catalytic converter was stolen. Justin was awesome, he replaced it in about 3 hours at an great price. He even installed the anti-theft blanket and alarm at a very low price, as well as tested it. I have been taking my cars to this location for over 15 years, every three months for oil change and any other mechanical work I needed. Always treated respectfully and they worked hard to fit my schedule. When I called this time I was treated as if they were doing me a favor and wanted me to fit my needs to their schedule. I drive from far north of Omaha to Bellevue just to use this business, but no more. I will be looking for a new place to take my car for routine maintenance in the future.

I have taken multiple cars through out the years here without incident, and have been pleased with service and trustworthiness. My opinion has completely changed. The manager who was there for many years is now all of a sudden MIA, gone and no one is saying where or why he left. I recently took my car in for an oil change and asked them to check my break pads, because my ride was making a weird noise which I was sure was from brake pads in need of replacement. They told me my pads (two of which were purchased from them two years ago) were fine and they claimed to have lubricated my discs. I called them back to say they are still making a noise and I was told I need to take a long road trip to rub off some rust. Seriously?Two or three weeks later, brakes making an additional noise -- a dragging sound. Decided to take it to another chain and was told the rear pads did in fact need replacing. The new shop replaced my pads and Voilà! no more noise. Yippee!! I am never going back to House of Mufflers again!

Great service and very reasonable price. We are very satisfied with the work they performed on our son's car.

Aaron was the reason I came here so often. He had excellent customer service. He looked out for his customers best interest. I told several people about him and they traveled from different areas of the metro area to come to the Bellevue house of mufflers. I was shocked to find out that he was no longer employed by them. They acted weird when I asked what happened... so hopefully he is doing well and house of mufflers didn't treat him poorly as he was employed there for YEARS!The new manager... while he was nice... he wad no Aaron!I give this place a 5 star based upon how it was ran with Aaron as the manager!I didn't have any work done... only an evaluation... when I went there last so I cant really comment on the new management and service.

Jeff is the man! Came into this location with my car sounding REALLY loud. I had done some internet research and asked around, so I knew it was time to take it to the muffler shop and tried out this location.Jeff was able to quickly identify the repair that was needed (new flex pipe), and even provided me an accurate quote and time estimate from off the top of his head. Within 20 minutes, the old pipe was sawed off, and the new one was welded on.What we didn't anticipate was there being another piece of the exhaust system that needed to be replaced after the new flex pipe was installed. Jeff was able to to improvise, and find a solution under $50 - something I am VERY confident that other shops wouldn't have done, as it would have been really easy for him to push me towards the "proper" expensive part that was needed.Couldn't of had a better experience! Take your car here for any muffler and exhaust problems, these guys are pros.

Needed a new catalytic converter and house of mufflers & brakes was amazing! Ashley and her team were extremely helpful, communicative and quick to resolve the issue. I was back on the road in no time & really appreciate all their hard work! Highly recommend this place!!

I went in due to a rattle/vibration in my exhaust. I was able to have my vehicle diagnosed immediately and fixed quickly as well. Very friendly, very straightforward folks. I'd definitely return. Thanks!

I've been everywhere from Walmart to a dealership for oil changes... But after meeting Justin I wouldn't go anywhere else! He's been taking care of my vehicle for the last year.
