Diana is the sweetest person to deal with. She made my wedding dress fit PERFECTLY on the first try, she is very easy to communicate with, she's funny, her prices are very fair and I cannot recommend her enough!! I loved her so much that she made me a custom veil to match my dress, and even ordered the appliqués for it from her favorite boutique in Paris France, because this is where I'm from. So special. Thanks for such an amazing experience Diana! I'll come back to post my dress post wedding :)

I took my Rue De Seine wedding dress from Unbridaled to Diane (everyone Unbridaled offered was booked through May-October) and she did an UNREAL job on my dress! She's from New York & you can tell in her skill! She has hand-drawn dress sketches on her wall in her studio, dresses in the work-in-progress stage, she is AMAZING. Diane is the lady I've been telling all my friends about when they're getting married & need an alterations specialist for their dress: DIANE IS THE ONE. She altered my $5,000 dress in BARELY two weeks for my wedding date on 4/17. As you can see from the pictures below, she added the wrist restraint for my train as well as a bustle for my train, to attach to my dress after the ceremony. Not only does she have the MOST ADORABLE dressing room & studio room for you to try on your dress & see what you need altered for your dress, she made me a KEYCHAIN out of the sleeve tassels I wasn't going to wear with my dress. I am beside myself how beautiful she made this dress. PLEASE go to her, not only is she a talented dress-maker, she's an AMAZING human being. She was so ecstatic with me, just as my best friends are, for my wedding. This is such a special lady! Please don't go anywhere else. You will not regret it.

Ok, so I never thought that one of my favorite wedding vendors would be the person who did my wedding dress alterations. But I can barely BEGIN to sing Diana's praises! I came to her with a pretty botched dress. I had tried on a dress I fell in love with at a trunk show, only to get the final piece in that was...different than what I had paid for. It was about a foot too long and inches too big. The proportions were really off. The pretty bow that tied onto the shoulder strap was not the expected material. I was slightly worried this dress was not going to be workable.And then, thanks to the genius she is, and after a couple of fittings, the dress I fell in love with reappeared!!!! Including the addition of a whole new beautiful bow in the right material, with the right look. The transformation was SIGNIFICANT. Diana made me feel validated that my dress was, in fact, really not what I signed up for, and remained really positive about the whole situation, while also managing expectations really well. Her studio is super cute, the work she committed to between fittings was always complete in time, and working with her was just super easy in general.She also helped alter a jumpsuit I will be wearing to my reception, which was also a fairly complex situation, and turned out AWESOME.I am thrilled with the outcome on both pieces and just cannot say enough good things about Diana. HIGHLY recommend!

If you're looking for anything from wedding gown alterations to custom dress making, Diana is your girl! I am so happy that I came across her website when I was in search of alterations for my wedding dress because she truly delivered. I had an unfortunate situation happen where the store I bought my wedding dress from had ordered the wrong one, so my new dress came just 3 weeks before my wedding. When I had explained the situation to Diana, she was so quick to help, let me schedule my fitting appointments in advance, and squeezed me in right before my wedding. Now for the crazy part: she managed to make all of my dress alterations in ONE WEEK (and there was A LOT to take out/do). When I came to my last appointment, the dress fit like a glove! She seriously saved the day and I feel so lucky to have found her. Diana is the sweetest person and so easy to connect with. She kept me laughing the entire appointment and just made me feel like I was in great hands with my dress. Throughout my entire wedding planning process, Diana is probably one of my favorite "vendors" I worked with! I just wish I found her sooner because she can custom design anything for your big day :)

This review is long over due, but I had to leave it... Diana altered my wedding dress for my June 1, 2019 wedding.. and it fit so amazing !! First off, her storefront had such a great vibe and decor, I knew I would love Diana as well. She's such a breath of fresh air, that understands a women's body and how a dress show fit. I'm more than happy how the alterations came out, I was very excited to wear my dress on our wedding day !!

After attempting to take my weddding dresses (I had two) for alterations at a few different places I was beginning to feel deflated. It was either way out of budget or the person performing the alterations didnt make me feel comfortable. That definitely was not the case here!I had my alterations done by Maira and she was heaven sent. I was so stressed about planning a destination wedding and my dress not fitting properly since I have big hips and a small chest but she made me feel reassured and the alterations came out STUNNING. Again I had two dresses; one with a lot of lace and bead work and the other with a lot of rips at the skirt (I bought it from a sample sale), both fit perfectly. If you visit be sure to book an appointment, the shop itself is beautiful and relaxing and the staff (shout out again to Maira) are so amazing!

Deane is AMAZING!! She completely transformed my wedding gown and came with so many solutions/ideas. You can truly see her experience shine through the work she produces. And, she was even able to help tailor my Indian bridal blouse (which had a ton of detailed embroidery). Everything fits to the tee and she doesn't let you leave without feeling like it is absolutely perfect. My sister and I will 100000% be back for her dress alterations next spring!

I truly cannot say enough amazing things about Diana. She took the vision I had for my dress and made it the perfect reality!! We took a poofy original and made more of a square neck with thicker straps and added a slit in the leg. Honestly if I had to do it all over again I would've just had her create a custom dream dress and skip the trying on a bunch of other dresses! That's how talented she is! Not to mention the best human ever. I miss looking forward to our appointments together & will definitely be seeing her with any and all altering needs! (She also altered my sister's bridesmaids dress that was 2 sizes too big in such a timely manner). Love love love!

Diana is absolutely amazing and I am so beyond grateful that I found her. I was so nervous about making a wrong decision on who to have make the alterations for my dress. My dress has tons of lace and detailing so I was concerned it would be difficult to alter. It is a big decision, but I could not have made a better one!!! Diana was so nice, professional and easy to work with through the alterations process. She gave me great advice that also helped with my wedding day shoes & accessories. I always knew that having something altered could make a difference, but wow.. seeing that process in action is insane. My dress was always beautiful but once Diana worked her magic my dress was beautiful ON ME. It complemented my body perfectly and fit perfectly and comfortably all night!!! If you need to have your wedding dress altered you NEED to work with Diana, she is so talented.

I am so happy I chose House of Deane to alter my wedding dress! At every stage of the tailoring process I was impressed with Diana's skill and communication. When I first sent an inquiry about hiring her via text, Diana quickly returned a list of suggested alterations and an estimate for their cost, all from looking at a photo of me in my dress. (This remote service was super appreciated in the pandemic in particular.)In person at my fittings (in her lovely studio), Diana was so kind and patient, and I felt like she really took the time to listen to which changes I wanted to make. She ended up hemming the dress, adding a bustle, and adjusting the off-the-shoulder sleeves to better fit my arms. Each of the alterations looked so natural, like they were originally part of the dress. Diana's turnaround times were also impressive, and she was able to hold onto the dress for me until a couple of days before the wedding for a small fee. (This was super appreciated because the dress was big and would otherwise have been hard to hide from my groom.)Definitely bring your dress to House of Deane if you're looking for a wedding tailor who is competent, friendly, fast, and responsive. I couldn't be happier with my dress and her service.
