I'm giving this 2 stars because I arrived last moment needing a room and they had one for me. They were very nice at the front desk. Got to my roomafter lugging my big suitcase up the stairs and found a suitable clean room.1) There is no elevator2) Don't stay here in the Summer! It's super hot in the room on the 2nd floor even with the wall unit on high on The coldest setting I could find. I should have guessed the issue with portable fans in the hallways.3) seems to be a truck drivers special kind of hotel.

The Horizon Inn and Suites is a godsend for West Point and it has become one of the best local businesses in the community. As someone who travels to West Point several times per year to visit family, I have long struggled to find decent lodging - that was until Horizon came to town. The Horizon consistently wows me with their superior cleanliness, pleasant staff, above standard breakfasts, and reasonable prices. Horizon is not only a great place to stay, but they're also proud sponsors of events and other businesses in town and have plenty of space for get togethers and events. My family and I have stayed here at least once per year every year since it has been open and we have never had a negative experience in all of that time. When you come through the area, you will not find a better place to stay than the Horizon Inn and Suites!

This was quite a nice place, unexpected fir a crap town like this. The only problem is it's one of those multi floor type place with no elevator. Which really doesn't make sense. Stayed in the spa suite. The television was quite small. But the spacious jaccusi was nice and relaxing. The only problem is I couldn't figure out how to drain the thing.
