Okieeeee this was top five fav thing to do since living in the Midwest... GOAT YOGA! The lil babies were the cutest and we had so much fun. The cheese and gelato samples were so good we left with one of each... great experience and you get to really be hands on with the little ones! I grew up playing in my family's goat pastures and was going to be so sad if I couldn't play with them like I used to. But I was not disappointed! My ONLY complaint, is that I wish that the emails we got said to bring a mat. I felt the worst about having to borrow one and felt like it upset the owner that I didn't follow the rules. I remember seeing it when we were buying but the emails never said it so I completelyyyyy forgot (they were my reminder) other than that, the best! They really let you touch, pick up, cuddle and do yoga things with these sweet babies!

Part of of the Loess Hills Tour my sister and I embarked on, the Honey Creek Creamery was one of the pit stops. I am a huge fan of goat cheese and was interested in finding out how a local goat cheese creamery ran. A very small farm, there were cute goats galore - they had a spread of some of their flavored goat cheese for you to try, and if you like (with a nominal fee), take a tour of the farm (milking the goats, petting them, taking pictures, and taking tour of how the creamer runs with its equipment). The mother-daughter team were really nice, and I bought a 4oz tub of the Smokey Aleppo Pepper goat cheese - a little bit of kick, it was delicious!+Smokey Aleppo Pepper goat cheese

Seriously, this is the best goat cheese I've ever had. I can't stop from just eating it. I use it in eggs, on crackers, on sandwiches. Adding the horseradish cranberry to a turkey sand which is heaven. I love the fact this is a family farm and every single goat is treated like a pet. Also, they now have gelato, which I am hesitant to talk about, because I want it all for myself. Seriously. I have SEVERAL in my freezer now. I might have to stop buying it because I can't keep my spoon out of it. One of only two goat gelato dairies in America.

I've been enjoying Honey Creeks goat cheese for years, and now they have mouth-watering, sigh-worthy gelato (and I'm comparing to Italy). I've been waiting, and it was well worth draining my parking-money pouch at the farmer's market to savor the last delicious melted drop for lunch today. Can't believe I have such restraint. I'd bring all my friends but then there'd be nothing left for me!

I'm a big fan of Honey Creek Creamery's goat cheese! It's flavorful, fresh and hard to stop eating. We have a hard time keeping this cheese in our fridge for more than a day. Not only is the cheese delicious, but Sharon and her family put a lot of love and pride into their creamery. The goats also seem very happy roaming the hills of this beautiful farm.

Sharon was a wonderful tour guide and the goats were such fun! She taught us how to milk a goat and we all got to try our hand at it, even the kids. Samples of the goat cheese were delicious. Suggest you wear barn yard footware and a hat and sunglasses to stay comfortable on the tours.
