Honest Engines was recommended to me as a good place to get my mower tuned up and repaired. They were helpful and communicative, answering all my questions and providing quality service for a reasonable price. I'll go back next time my mower needs work.

Quick service and excellent price to fix my push mower. We got the mower back in in just 2 days too!!

I called over with an emergency order for snow blower parts to clear the snow yesterday and he knew exactly what I needed and had it on hand. Even gave me some advice on how to fix my high idle problem. Thanks again!

We took our Toro mower in. We needed the blades sharpened or replaced, the major belt replaced. He noticed the battery was pretty old & not doing its best. We had it back very quickly & the price was reasonable.

Buyer beware. If you buy a defective item here, they will not refund your money, exchange it, or look at it without charging you. They will not help you get service from the manufacturer. They aggressively blamed us for the failure of the lawn mower we bought even though we used it just once before it broke. Our previous lawn mowers lasted 20 years each, so we know how to care for lawn mowers.

I read this review before I went into the store and I asked the owner about this. There are always two sides and I thought it would be worth mentioning that the guy who gave a bad review was actually given the correct parts and not charged for labor. He was also given the parts at cost as a peace offering for the confusion. It's kind of terrible that he would write a bad review and then not come back to explain what the owner did for him. My own dealing with this business was very pleasant. Brandon the owner is very knowledgable, the prices are fair, and he really is an honest guy. I highly recommend anyone who needs some service done on their machines to go here.

Had to order new belts for mower. They were told what model and kind of mower was for. HE measured belts themselves and then ordered them. Order took longer than told. Then the belts were the wrong size...way too big! Went back to return them and was told there would be a 40% restocking fee. Never told that and no sign explaining. I feel they measured them and then ordered the wrong part. They should have taken them back with no restocking fee! Very difficult and expensive to work with!

I went into Honest Engines to buy a weed eater, they recommended the Jonsered model GC2128C. I really depended on their opinions as experts.....unfortunately it didnt even make it through one season. This spring I had to take it back to them to have the gas tube replaced in the gas tank, then I took it back later, they said it would cost more to replace the stripped shaft then buy a new one..I would not recommend this shop, they will make nice to sell you a product and in this case it was junk..... All bad attitude and no help....be warned.

Fixed and tuned up my mower, works great, took a couple of weeks to get back but I took it during a busy time of year so I expected that.
