So, I hear on the radio this ad for 20 Rib Eyes for $25. That sounds like a deal, I mean I don't expect highest quality for that price. But when I find this truck that this company is selling steaks out of, in the parking lot, I'm met with this fast talking salesman trying to sell me more expensive steaks at what sounds like a killer price. He was slapping down frozen steaks so fast , I could hardy think! They sell it by the piece or box, so you can't compare it to the price per LB. like most of us do. I needed a calculator, but I didn't have one, so I ended up getting talked into just the promo of the 20 Rib Eyes for $25. I look at them and think these are some pretty thin steaks. Originally I thought how little can these steaks be? Like 8 oz would be a normal steak, but come to find out after I got it, the box is 5 lbs of meat, so 20 1/4 lb. steaks. Quarter pound? WTF , I never saw a steak that small. A burger is bigger then that! Thin cut frozen wafers of meat is what I got for my $25 ... AND on top of that, the guy charged my card $28! This meat sorry ain't worth 5 bucks a pound! Sneaky SOB! I can't see these "steaks" tasting any good, maybe a stew! If any of you out there see or hear offers for steaks on the internet or on the radio ... forget this offer ..... should have known to good to be true. I don't normally get that wool pulled over my eyes, but this time I did!

Worst customer service EVER!! I spent over $175.00 and the order was shipped wrong, I called 4 times and could not get a return phone. Finally, on the 2nd day, when I threatened to return the entire order was I able to get past the call center. Then I was told he would make the order complete and credit my card $5.00, and that was "good customer service" and I should be happy. Everytime I tried to talk this "customer service supervisor" would talk over me. He had an attitude that I take his offer or not, he owes me nothing. So, six days later I received the balance of my order... it was the sauce for the chicken wings. It arrived, warm, with mold floating on the top. It was a really nice way for them to let me know how much they appreciate me as a customer. Avoid my mistake DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH Northland Steaks.com It is not worth the headache.

I have used their service many times. The meat comes packaged in a Styrofoam ice chest with dry ice and ice packs. The meat is all placed in a mylar bag and each steak is individually freezer packed. I have used the Groupon about 15 times (no joke)... great deal!

I ordered as there was a Groupon offer. Their steaks were expensive and what not but thought I'd give them a shot. Groupon purchase was 3/24/20. I believe my order was 4 sirloins and 8 burgers, maybe only 4 burgers.Delays and delays and delays... they were dealing with limited inventory and everything was delayed.I completely understood! I wasn't rushing them or ugly or anything. (It was all via email and I can prove how patient and appreciative we were.) we were offered an upgrade due to limited product and that totally tickled us pink! We finally got a confirmation on 5/19/20 (after our initial order date of 3/24/20) and asked if a particular delivery date would be okay. It was two days later, I believe. One of those crazy days in a household so when it arrived, i immediately put the meat in the freeze. Two days ago, I moved some steaks and burgers to the fridge to thaw...Tonight, I went to cut the meat open and realized the expiration dates were from MARCH and APRIL... and we didn't even get a confirmation of our shipment from the company until MAY 19. They literally shipped us meat that was 1.5-2.5 months expired. (I have pics of the expiration dates as well.)How is this possibly acceptable? I'm HOPING it was an error but if not, I'm contacting the FDA. This is soooooo gross!

SCAM!!! DO NOT BUY! I ordered on May 1st of 2020. The package never came. I was in contact with Homeland Steaks customer service team who kindly apologized and gave me a new arrival date for my package. The package did not ship from Holland Steaks again. I have had an expected arrival date 4 times. Meaning I was given 3 new arrival dates that have all come and gone where I expected to receive the meat. DO NOT BUY! SCAM!

I ordered two packages from a groupon deal I bought. First they only sent part of my order. When I called they sent me the rest of my order. The only reason I am rating this a 2 start and not a 1 start is because the loaded baked potatoes tasted ok, but were very small and that they sent me a $20 coupon after I asked for a compensation for them not sending my order correct the first time. Needless to say I will not be using the coupon because the meat was horrible for the price. It was actually horrible for a cheap piece of meat too. It was very tough regardless of how I cooked it or marinated it, and had lots of gristle in it. THe flavor wasn't that great either. They were all horrible cuts of meat.

I ordered the Holiday Angus Steak Sampler and did not receive 2 of the New York Strip steaks. I called customer service and they said the best that they could do was send a $20 gift card. I asked to speak to a supervisor. She did say that they could re-ship the 2 steaks I did not receive. They gave me a new shipping date, and I thought the problem was resolved. Twenty minutes later I got a call from an unknown number, it was Homeland Steaks. They left a message saying the shipping date had to be changed, and I needed to call them back confirming the shipping date. So, I then had to call them back and all service representatives were assisting other callers, so I had to leave a message. What a pain in the butt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
